UNCENSORED NEWS FROM HENRY MORTON STANLEY SCHOOL OF CHRISTIAN JOURNALISM   “Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) goes far beyond sex ed, and is a dangerous assault on the health and innocence of children…” American College of Pediatricians Comprehensive Sexuality Indoctrination The Department of Education in South Africa is in the process of endeavoring to implement UNESCO’s Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) curriculum in South African Schools in January 2020. There has been an uproar of outrage and concernment for our youth based on the explicit content of the CSE curriculum. The Department of Education seems to have been deceitfully underhanded in its endeavours, as it has been very secretive and deceptive. Indisputable Issues There is a clear problem with teenage pregnancies, sexual violence and STD’s in our country that desperately needs to be addressed and rectified. But desensitizing children to sexual matters and sparking their curiosity with explicit sexual content is not the way to do it. This will only lead to aggravated problems and not solutions.  Blatant Lies to Cover Up Harmful Effects on Children Despite the Department’s claims that a 2016 review of the International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education (ITGSE) provides evidence that it effectively addresses the negative consequences which can result from a lack of education and information on sex and sexuality, studies using UNESCO’s own data clearly show that CSE can be harmful. What the Department failed to state is that subsequent studies conducted by, for example, the Institute for Research and Evaluation in 2018 and 2019 (which use UNESCO’s own data) clearly show that the implementation of CSE globally carries a clear risk of harm to children. Clear Results of Harm for Children These studies concluded that: 1. “school-based CSE … does not support UNESCO’s claim that [its CSE programme] is effective. In fact, UNESCO’s own evidence indicates that CSE in school settings has shown little success and may be doing more harm than good”; and 2. 89% of African school-based CSE programs failed to demonstrate effectiveness; and 3. 27% of African school-based CSE programs found negative impacts (learners became sexually active earlier, had more sexual partners, as well as demonstrating an increase in STD infections, paid sex (engaging in prostitution), rape, and a decreased rate of condom use) – i.e. found that it did harm to the learners.  Sexual Indoctrination These more recent studies reveal exactly the opposite results to those promised by the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and show evidence of earlier sexual debuts, more sexual partners, less condom use, worse rates of STI and HIV infections and even increases in sexual violence. They refute the DBE’s claim, both before the Basic Education Parliamentary Portfolio Committee and in their press statement, that the CSE curriculum does not sexualise children. Their claims directly contradict the results of the studies. Just one example in the curriculum (and there are many) involves the teacher giving the Grade 8 class a description of vaginal, anal and oral sex, so given that children are naturally inquisitive, how does this not run the risk of prematurely sexualising them? Example of UNICEF’s “Healthy” Views on Sex Being Taught to Our Children On page 89 of a UNICEF-published sexual and reproductive health manual, UNICEF listed situations in which one can obtain sexual pleasure, that included sexual responses directed towards “inanimate objects, animals, minors and non consenting persons”! Unsuitable Even For Adults FOR SA has had the opportunity (thanks to the ACDP) to review the Structured Lesson Plans and Educator Guides for the new CSE curriculum. Roots of the Sexual Rights and Sexual Education Movement Sexual Rights and Sexual Education Movements began with Dr. Alfred C. Kinsey. Kinsey actually had pedophiles measure with a stopwatch how many, of what he called orgasms, children could achieve within a 24 hour period. “Today Comprehensive Sexuality Education is based on this philosophy created by Kinsey, that children are sexual from birth,” says Judith Reisman, Ph.D. - Director Liberty Child Protection Centre, Liberty University School of Law “For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” Jude 4 Who Promotes or Profits from CSE?  “Lucrative “sexual and reproductive health care services” can include sexual counseling, family planning, contraception, condoms, abortion, testing and treatment for STIs and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, as well as related commodities, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, etc. The early sexualization of children through CSE can create lifelong paying customers for these services, so this is big business,” says Family Watch International. Hooking children on sex is a multibillion-dollar business for Planned Parenthood and other similar sex-reliant industries.  False CSE Claims Exposed CSE programme, “It’s All One”, promoted by Planned Parenthood, claims, amongst other things, to be evidence-based, comprehensive, human rights, gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate education, that will increase young people’s responsible decision making, to reduce adolescent rates of pregnancy, STIs, including HIV. This would be fantastic and necessary, if true. While “It’s All One”, and most CSE programmes, are really just cunningly disguised abortion rights and sexual pleasure education, masquerading as human rights, gender and sexual and reproductive health education. Inside the pages of “It’s All One”, Abortion is aggressively promoted, with over 112 abortion references and there is an obsessive focus on sexual pleasure, mentioning it 62 times.  Pornographic Child Abuse One of the prescribed textbooks, “Happy, Healthy and Hot”, which is to educate on sexual pleasure for HIV positive youth, teaches about masturbation, sex with same-sex partners and how “some people have sex when they have been drinking alcohol or using drugs. This is your choice…If you want to have sex and think that you might get drunk or high, plan ahead properly.” So not only promoting teenage sex, but also underage drinking and drugs, as well as making decisions under the influence. It also tells young people that “you have the right not to disclose your HIV status to a sexual partner, if you’re not comfortable”! It also teaches youth that are HIV positive, that if they decide with their partner not to wear a condom, that’s their decision. How can teaching this possibly be inline with their claims of reducing rates of STI’s and HIV? But then again, why would an Organization like Planned Parenthood, who treats STI’s and lifelong HIV and “gets rid of unwanted pregnancies”, possibly teach something that guarantees them fewer “customers”? It wouldn’t and that’s why it promotes this sexually explicit content to young, curious, impressionable and vulnerable youth.  One Of The Greatest Assaults On The Health and Innocence Of Children “Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is one of the greatest assaults on the health and innocence of children. This is because unlike traditional sex education, comprehensive sexuality education is highly explicit and promotes promiscuity and high-risk sexual behaviors to children as healthy and normal. CSE programs have an almost obsessive focus on teaching children how to obtain sexual pleasure in various ways. Yet, ironically, comprehensive sexuality education programs are anything but comprehensive as they fail to teach children about all of the emotional, psychological and physical health risks of promiscuous sexual activity. The ultimate goal of CSE is to change the sexual and gender norms of society, which is why CSE could be more accurately called “abortion, promiscuity, and LGBT rights education.” CSE is a “rights-based” approach to sex education and promotes sexual rights to children at the expense of their sexual health.” - Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation South Africa  Diabolical Schemes of CSE Do More Harm Than Good “CSE sexualizes children at young ages. It uses images and the language of “sexual rights” - similar to sexual predators - to groom children for sexual exploitation and abuse. There are tons of global research and studies that prove CSE does more harm than good. CSE is the most dangerous state sanctioned attack on the innocence of children in South Africa.” Errol Naidoo, President of the Family Policy Institute.  DBE-UNESCO Intense Deception The Departments of Basic Education’s (DBE) misinformation and deception seem to be continually escalating, declaring that the public’s concerns with “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” are a result of “fake news”! The Department of Basic Education (DBE) recently did a press release, expressing concern about “misleading information” and “unnecessary confusion and panic among South Africans” following information released on their revised Comprehensive Sexuality Education curriculum by Freedom of Religion South Africa(FOR SA). DBE spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga said, “The outcry around sex education is based on misinformation” and that “information pertaining to CSE was published on the DBE website". The only problem is that what the Department selectively published on its website is not CSE. It’s a sanitised version of the alleged “sex education” program - designed to mislead and deceive the public.  Further Blatant Lies Although the DBE claims that “there is no new content that has been added to the Life Orientation subject in schools”, this is clearly not correct. In terms of the DBE’s own press release, the Life Skills / Life Orientation curricula were “reviewed” to bring it in line with the International Technical Guidelines on Sexuality Education (ITGSE). This is clearly stated in the introduction to their own materials. (pictures) Contradictions The DBE’s statements are also dishonest and contradictory. In one statement, the DBE said “CSE is not new, it has been part of the Life Orientation curriculum since 2000”, while in other statements, the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga said, “CSE pilot programs were run in certain provinces and will be implemented countrywide in 2020.” The Minister also said in Parliament, “Parents concerned by CSE can opt out of the program provided they obtain an alternative curriculum.” DBE spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga later contradicted this and said, “parents of kids in public schools cannot opt out.” What is the Truth? If CSE was part of the LO curriculum since 2000, why did the Minister run pilot programs in 2017/18/19 and plan to fully implement CSE in 2020? Why do parents have the option to “opt out” of CSE now if, like the DBE claims, parents were previously informed about the content and found nothing wrong with it? Scapegoat For Their Own Negligence Furthermore, The DBE has admitted that the primary stakeholders (parents and teachers) had not been properly consulted during the curriculum development process. According to their own admission, they have failed to consult with key stakeholders and they have also ignored numerous requests from several organisations for transparency and to make information on the revised CSE curriculum available. So now the Department is trying to make FOR SA and others a scapegoat for their own negligence, in attempts to deflect attention away from the graphic visual and descriptive content of the curriculum.  Blatant Blackmail Dr Theresa Okafor, Director of the Foundation for African Cultural Heritage, said that “the Nigerian government was actually told by the Western countries, that if they do not give in [to accepting the CSE curriculum], that they would be denied forgein aid.” DBE’s Failure To Respond DBE failed to respond to the key concerns raised in FOR SA’s press release. These include the fact that the Minister of Basic Education has already signed off on the Scripted Lesson Plans (SLPs) and Educator guides for Grades 4 – 12; that the Midline Report findings on the pilot scheme have identified significant resistance from both parents and teachers; that the DBE’s project has been funded by, amongst others, USAID and incorporates UNESCO’s highly controversial ITGSE, contributed to by the notorious abortion agency, Planned Parenthood.  What Does The Creator of Humanity Say About the Topic? “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. To say: My family is mine. My wife is mine. And I am hers. Our children are ours. And then act on these claims! We need to stand together and find ways to stop it from entering our country. “Men have to rise up, defend their families. On sexual matters, parents should be the teachers. If we don’t do something about it, it is all of us that carry that guilt.
