 The Seven Year Jericho Prayer March
Shortly after I returned from my two years National Service in the South African Infantry and had returned to Hospital Christian Fellowship, Brother Andrew (of God’s Smuggler fame) visited Hospital Christian Fellowship headquarters in Kempton Park. At the Devotions, he reported back on the success of Project Pearl smuggling a million Bibles into Red China. And he challenged us to join with Christians behind the Iron Curtain in a Seven-year Jericho Prayer March! This was not something being initiated in the West. It had already begun with the prayer meetings in Leipzig, East Germany, behind the Iron Curtain. We were challenged to a seven year prayer focus on bringing down the Iron Curtain, collapsing the Soviet Empire and opening up Eastern Europe and Russia to missionary work! To me, at the time, this sounded more than a bridge too far. I had seen the Iron Curtain. There was no doubt in my mind, at that time, that the Iron Curtain was an immovable fact of 20th Century history and it would be up until Jesus returned.

Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:15-18 Who is funding Hamas? Although the US government of Pres Biden claims to "have Israel's back", and has sent an aircraft carrier group into the eastern Mediterranean, and although America does supply the state of Israel with billions of dollars of weaponry, it is also true that United States of America are funding those who fund the Hamas terrorists. US president Biden released $6 billion to Iran. Iran has supplied US $1.8 billion to Hamas. Iranian advisers help train Hamas fighters. American ally Qatar supplies US $ 20 million each month to Hamas. Hamas also collects US $ 27 Million in taxes from the Palestinian people in Gaza. US ally and NATO member, Turkey also supports Hamas. Hamas has controlled the Gaza Strip since 2007. Hamas has 30,000 jihadist terrorists and an arsenal of 7000 rockets and 300 anti-tank missiles.  The Hypocrisy and Irresponsibility of Hamas leaders Hamas started this war. Israel is determined to finish it. Caught in the middle of the ordinary people of Israel and Palestine. The Gazans are going to pay a high price for the provocative atrocities of Hamas. Senior Hamas leaders live abroad, in luxury, in Turkey and Qatar, and do not suffer the consequences of their irresponsible policies like the common people in Gaza do. The HISTORIC ROOTS of TERRORISM While some trace the history of terrorism to the Sicarii Zealots in 1st century Judea, the term terrorism was originally used to describe the actions of the Jacobins during the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution (1789-1793). Maximilien Robespierre advocated terrorism as a tool of the Revolution. In 1795 Edmund Burke denounced the French Revolutionary Jacobins for letting “thousands of those hell-hounds called terrorists… loose on the people of France.” Anarchists in Russia targeted and assassinated leaders for “armed propaganda.” The Irish Republican Brotherhood, founded in 1858, initiated bombing campaigns to achieve their political aims. Defining Terrorism Webster’s Dictionary of the English language (1828), defines Terrorism: “The use of violence and threats to intimidate, or coerce, for political purposes.” Terrorist is defined as: “A person who uses, or advocates, terrorism… such as agent, or partisan, of the Revolutionary Tribunal during the Reign of Terror in France.” To Terrorize is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as: “To dominate, or coerce, by intimidation. To produce widespread fear by acts of violence, as bombings.” Many authorities claim that it is “very difficult” to define terrorism. No, it is not difficult. Webster defines the terms very clearly. However, as many government policies would fit the dictionary definition of terrorism they prefer to pretend that there is a problem defining the terms. Basically, it is hypocrisy. When we bomb civilians it is strategic bombing, or saturation bombing. However, when our enemies bomb us it is terrorism!  The Role of Special Operations Executive in The Second World War The Special Operations Executive (SOE) was formed by order of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill on 22 July 1940. His directive to SOE was to: “Set Europe ablaze!” To this purpose, the SOE was to conduct espionage, sabotage and reconnaissance in order to aid local resistance movements. Modelled on the Irish Republican Army, SOE employed, or controlled, just over 13,000 people at the height of World War II. Also known as Churchill’s Secret Army, or the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, SOE Head Quarters was located in Baker Street, leading to its personnel referring to themselves at the Baker Street Irregulars. “Set Europe Ablaze!” Although ostensibly meant to focus on countries occupied by Axis forces, SOE also operated/assassinated in neutral territories such as Sweden, Spain and Switzerland. Hugh Dalton, the Minister of Economic Warfare, was appointed to take responsibility for the SOE. As Dalton left Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s study, he was instructed: “Now set Europe ablaze!” “These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies and one who sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:19-19 Churchill’s Toy Shop For security purposes, SOE was often concealed behind such names as “Joint Technical Board” or the “Inter-Service Research Bureau”. Handbooks and pamphlets on Guerrilla Warfare were produced. Weapons were developed for Guerrilla Warfare, in what was called, “Churchill’s Toy Shop”. Modelled on the IRA Major General Colin Gubbins, Director of SOE from August 1943, with wide experience of clandestine operations, said that he put into practice many of the lessons he had learned from the IRA during the Irish War of Independence. The aims and objectives of SOE revolved around sabotage and subverting countries under control of the Axis powers. “An evil man seeks only rebellion…” Proverbs 17:11  Provoking Reaction One of their early high profile operations was Operation Anthropoid, the assassination of the governor of Moravia and Bohemia, Reinhard Heydrich, in Prague, which had disastrous consequences for everyone involved. SOE’s key objective was to ferment hatred and conflict between the population of Axis occupied countries and the occupiers, to force the Axis to expend man-power and resources on maintaining control of territory they occupied. “He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears.” Proverbs 26:17 Mobilising Murder and Mayhem To this end SOE created secret armies and guerrilla forces, to sow murder and mayhem behind the lines. These underground armies became a model for the Marxist liberation movements which tore Africa apart during the years of decolonialisation. The KGB built on the example of SOE in arming, training and fomenting terrorism campaigns throughout the world, including the Muslim terrorists that continue to plague civilised society to this day. “…Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore the wrath of the Lord is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2 Tools of Terror SOE developed a wide range of explosive devices for sabotage, such as limpet-mines, shape-charges and timed-fuses. The time-pencil, used to give a saboteur time to escape after setting a charge, relied on crushing an internal vile of acid which then corroded a retaining wire. SOE pioneered the use of plastic explosives which could be shaped and cut to perform any demolition task. As plastic explosive is inert and require a powerful detonator to cause it to explode, it was generally safe to transport and store. SOE used plastic explosives in everything from car bombs to exploding rats. SOE also experimented with lubricants laced with grinding materials for introduction to vehicle oil systems, railway wagon axle boxes and incendiary devices disguised as innoxious objects. Explosive material was concealed in coal piles to destroy locomotives and fireplaces. Land mines were disguised as cow dung. SOE also revived medieval devices such as the caltrop, which could be used to burst the tires of vehicles or injure foot soldiers. They also produced cross bows to shoot incendiary bolts. SOE also produced exploding pens, guns concealed in Tabaco pipes and other exotic devices. “Woe to those who devise iniquity and work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.” Micah 2:1 The Arsenal for Soviet Marxism SOE supplied Marxist resistance forces throughout Europe, South East Asia and China, with thousands of tonnes of military weapons and explosives. Numerous military leaders were horrified at the terror tactics used by SOE and its practise of supporting Marxist revolutionaries, such as Tito’s partisans in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Betraying Yugoslavia to Communism Even before the Tehran Conference of 1943, SOE had stopped supporting the Royalist government-in-exile of Mihalovic and channelled most British support to the communist partisans of Josip Broz Tito. “Their feet run to evil and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.” Isaiah 59:7 Sowing Seeds for the Greek Civil War Also in Greece, SOE and OSS operatives favoured the communist ELAS guerrilla forces and effectively provided the weapons which Marxists used in the Greek Civil War, following WW2. Betraying Albania to Stalinism In Albania, SOE and OSS agents supported the communist partisans of Enver Hoxha, who turned Albania into the most brutal Stalinist dictatorship after the war. “For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity.” Isaiah 59:3  SOE Was a Massive State-Sponsored Terrorist Operation British military historian, John Keegan, wrote: “We must recognise that our response to the scourge to terrorism is compromised by what we did through SOE… The justification… that we had no other means of striking back at the enemy is exactly the argument used by the Red Brigades, the Baader-Meinhoff Gang, the PFLP, the IRA and every other half-articulate terrorist organisation on earth… SOE besmirched Britain.” “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 Military Failures but Propaganda Success When British Military officials objected on both moral and military grounds to the SOE operations fomenting terrorism and revolution and that they were of no practical use in the larger military picture, leading to an unnecessary loss of civilian lives, provoking harsh crack-downs, Prime Minister Winston Churchill responded that that was the whole intention. SOE was to provoke enemy crackdowns on the civilian population and deteriorate relations in the occupied countries. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20 Colossal Collateral Cost The Secret War by Max Hastings, quotes British High Command Generals as concluding that all the expenses, sacrifices and achievements of SOE did little, or nothing, to alter the military situation or secure military victory, but rather cost an enormous amount of civilian lives by fomenting terrorism in order to provoke enemy reaction. The result was vast devastation to infrastructure in Europe and the loss of many innocent lives, for no strategic advantage. “…We have made a covenant with death and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.” Isaiah 28:15 The Office of Strategic Services Role in Advancing Communism The Office of Strategic Services (OSS), officially formed 13 June 1942, was a war-time agency of the United States, launched on the order of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. FDR tasked Colonel William Donovan (Wild Bill Donovan) who had been appointed co-ordinator of information, 11 June 1941, for the Office of Co-ordinative Information (COI). OSS was established by presidential military order for propaganda, espionage and subversive activities behind enemy lines.  Riddled with Communists At the height of its influence during WW2 the OSS employed about 24,000 people. The Secret War, by Max Hastings, records that William Donovan had no problem appointing known communists to every level of the OSS. This included Duncan Lee, his personal assistant, who was an NKVD Agent for the Soviet Union. “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption…” 2 Peter 2:19 Weapons for Guerrilla Warfare OSS produced silenced pistols, beano grenades that exploded upon impact, explosives disguised as lumps as coal (black jack), tasteless poison tablets and cigarettes laced with poison. “In transgressing and lying against the Lord and departing from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.” Isaiah 59:13 Biological Chemical Warfare They also engaged in biological warfare, seeking to spread anthrax amongst German troops. Another plot included hiding a capsule of mustard gas in flowers to cause blindness amongst generals in the High Command Head Quarters. “Woe to those who devise iniquity and work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.” Micah 2:1 No Holds Barred Stanley Lovell of the OSS declared: “It is my policy to consider any method whatever that might aid the war, however unorthodox or untried.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:15-18  Betraying Allies to Communist Revolutionaries and Islamic Radicals Max Hastings in The Secret War, documents how OSS played a decisive role in ensuring that the communist partisans gained control of Yugoslavia and that Mao’s Communist Peoples Liberation Army dominated post-war China. The OSS was the predecessor of the modern Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who have toppled governments, assassinated leaders, armed, funded and trained Muslim and Marxist terrorists and fomented revolutions, including the catastrophic Arab Spring and ISIS, which have devastated centuries-old Christian communities and stimulated waves of millions of Muslim refugees who are destabilising and threatening Europe. “Who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war.” Psalm 140:2 What Motivates Terrorists? Over the last 40 years, as a Missionary who has concentrated on serving persecuted Christians and evangelising in conflict areas, I have been exposed to Marxist and Muslim terrorist groups and engaged them in discussion, debate and argument, including in mosques, terrorist bases, on their radio programmes and in their homes. From my observations, terrorists are motivated by fanatical hatred, intense rage, deep-seated anger, as well as a pragmatic prospect of attaining political power through terrorist tactics. Also they are motivated by greed, perceived opportunities for revenge and looting, a lust for power and frequently ignorance. Philosophical Justification Of course, many will quote from the writings of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin, or from Mao Tso Tung, or even Voltaire, Rossouw and Robespierre, for some kind of philosophical support for their violent tactics and revolutionary aims. Muslims will quote from the Quran and from the Hadith of Muhammad as the authoritative foundation and inspiration for their Jihad. Those few Irish Republican advocates of terror that I have interacted with have evidenced a mixture of Catholicism and Communism in their deranged thinking to justify bombing both military and civilian targets and crippling catholic apostates for “collaboration with the enemy” by knee-capping. How Can We Defeat Terrorism? Obviously, we must understand our enemy. Irish Republicanism and Catholicism inspired most terrorist attacks in Great Britain from Guy Fawkes’s failed 5 November 1605 Gunpowder Plot through the Irish Republican Brotherhood’s bombings of the 1860’s and the IRA’s S-Plan (Sabotage campaign) of the 1930’s and 1940’s, to the spate of parcel bombs, car bombs, pub bombings, targeting of soldiers and civilians and economic targets, such as Harrods Department Store, The Brighton Hotel, Hyde Park and the Stock Exchange bombings. Although most assume that the IRA was primarily motivated by Republicanism and Catholicism, there were also strong Marxist, Revolutionary and Anarchist elements to the IRA terrorism campaign. Know Your Enemy Since the Iranian Embassy siege of 1980 and the Pan Am Flight 103 Lockerbie disaster of 21 December 1988, Islamic terrorism has come to Britain. Since 7 July 2005 the IRA monopoly on bombs in the UK was taken over by Muslim Jihadists. Therefore one needs to understand the Quranic teachings on Jihad and Islamic history of terrorism. Ensure That Terrorism is Counter Productive To defeat terrorism one needs to ensure that it never pays. Every time you compromise with, negotiate with, give into the demands of, or pander to, the agenda of, the terrorists, you greatly encourage them, weaken your own position and expose your country and people to many more and far worse attacks in the future. Starve the Terrorist of their Support Base General Pinochet understood that terrorism is armed propaganda, therefore he deprived the terrorists of publicity. Without media coverage, terrorism in Chile died like a fire deprived of oxygen. In the Malayan Emergency the British and Commonwealth forces enlisted the help of the local population by offering generous rewards for information leading to the capture of the gangsters/terrorists disturbing the peace. Those handling in terrorist weapons also received very generous cash pay outs. Protected villages were established to remove the support insurgents had demanded from locals. In this way security forces separated “the water from the fish” and the insurgency died out.  Stop Supporting Those Who Support Terrorism One needs to stop supporting the states, ideologies and religions that inspire, fuel, mobilise and support terrorism today. Historically that has included Revolutionary France, Serbia, the Soviet Union, Red China, Turkey, Qatar, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Stop Removing Those Who Are Resisting Terrorism Next, one must stop destabilising and overthrowing those states that are resisting terrorism. Historically this has included joining forces with Stalin’s Soviet Union in waging warfare against the two greatest opponents to communism and terrorism in history: Germany and Japan, betraying nationalist China into the hands of Mao Tse Tungs’ Peoples Liberation Army, betraying Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia and Albania into the hands of Marxist Revolutionary terrorists, the betrayal of the Shah’s Iran into the hands of the Ayatollah Khomeini’s Radical Islamic revolutionaries, the betrayal of Batista’s Cuba into the hands of Castro’s Communists, Nicaragua into the hands of the Sandinistas, Rhodesia into the hands of Mugabe’s Marxist ZANU thugs, the betrayal of South Africa into the hands of Mandela’s ANC terrorists and the targeting of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, Gaddafi’s Libya, Mubarak’s Egypt and Assad’s Syria. In each case the result was a far worse regime and greatly increased suffering, mass deaths and escalating terrorist threats and attacks. Recognise that Recent Western Attempts to Combat Terror has Been Counter Productive Historically, with the destabilising, collapse, or overthrow, of each of these states which were resisting communism and/or radical Islamic terrorism, the cause of international communism, or Islamic Jihad, has accelerated and the numbers of terrorist attacks on the West have exponentially increased.  The Saudi Arabian Connection Former MI6 agent Alastair Crooke observed that Saudi Arabia was founded with terrorism and has been the primary supporter of radical Islamic terrorism to this day. The founder of Wahhabism, Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab argued that all Muslims must pledge allegiance to a single Muslim leader, king, or Caliph. Those who would not conform to this should be killed. The Wahhabians consider Shiite and Sufi Muslims as apostates worthy of death. Abd al-Wahhab found protection under Chief Ibn Saud, after whom Saudi Arabia is named. From the very beginning, Ibn Saud and Abd al-Wahhab used terrorism to instil fear and force submission upon all those that they conquered. In 1801 they massacred thousands, including men, women and children in Karbala in Iraq. They destroyed shrines, including of Imam Hussein, the murdered grandson of their prophet Muhammad. British official Francis Warden recorded that over 5,000 inhabitants were massacred in Karbala by the Wahhabians. They seized Mecca with similar violence and destroyed centuries of Islamic architecture near the Grand Mosque. The ISIS Connection ISIS is a modern incarnation of the Wahhabianism that has dominated Saudi Arabia for over two centuries. During the Second World War, President Franklin D. Rooseveldt invited king Abd Al-Aziz aboard the USS Quincy, docked in the Suez Canal, where they cemented a secret Oil-for-Security pact. The Saudi’s guaranteed America access to Saudi oil, in exchange for the US pledge to provide military assistance and training to Saudi Arabia. Islamic scholars have noted that “the ideology of the Saudi regime is that of ISIS.” “Wahhabi Islam is fully in sync with ISIS.”” The House of Saud has exploited this very same pernicious form of militant Islam under United States watch.” Supporting Saudi Arabia Effectively Supports Terrorism Some American Generals, such as Wesley Clark, have observed: “It can’t be exploiting extremism and at the same time ask the United States to protect it.” Even the United States’ State Department acknowledged in December 2009 that Saudi Arabia was “the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide.” Yet, because Saudi Arabia is a key purchaser of American weapons, invests in US government bonds and acts as a proxy for covert US actions in the region, the US government has chosen to turn a blind eye to Saudi Arabia sponsoring much of the mayhem in the Muslim Middle East. War Against Shia Sir Richard Dearlove, head of British Secret Intelligence Service MI6, from 1999 to 2004, reported on a conversation with Prince Bander Bin Sultan, the former Saudi ambassador in Washington and, until recently, head of Saudi Intelligence, of a conversation just prior to 9/11: “The time is not far off in the Middle East, when it will be literally ‘God help the Shia’. More than a billion Sunnis have certainly had enough of them.” Sir Dearlove said it was “a chilling comment that I remember very well indeed.”  Saudi Money and Manpower Sustains Jihad Today The previous head of MI6 has reported that he does not doubt that substantial and sustained funding from donors in Saudi Arabia and Qatar has played a central role in the surge of ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Fifteen of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabians, as was Bin Laden and most of the private donors who funded the operation. Arab Spring and International Jihad The Arab Spring chaos of 2011 was sponsored by donors in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates. Turkey has also played a major role in supporting both ISIS and Al-Nusra by keeping the 800km long Turkish/Syrian border open for the so-called rebels. Most of the radical madrassas and mosques where domestic terrorists of both the United States and the United Kingdom, are groomed and recruited, were built and funded by the Saudi Arabian kingdom. The refugee crisis stimulated by the wars in the Middle East are threatening to destabilise Europe. Beheadings and Crucifixions are a Mark of Saudi Wahhabianism The practise of ISIS, of conducting public beheadings, is consistent with the practise of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where, of the hundreds of executions in recent decades, all were carried out by public beheading. Saudi Arabia maintains the death penalty for being a victim of rape, for blasphemy, false prophecy, apostasy and a wide range of other offences. Crucifixion of the beheaded body is also sometimes ordered. Under Shari’a law the woman is held 90% responsible for rape as “women have the power of enticement.” Therefore the victim of rape is beheaded, stoned, or hung in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran.  Where Liberation Proves Worse than Oppression
All of the countries where the United States government engaged in “regime change” – such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya - have descended into brutal chaos. One of the great perversities of America’s so-called War on Terror is that fundamentalist Islamic Jihadists have flourished as a direct consequence of it. The religion of peace.com website has documented over 44,000 deadly terror attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists since 11 September 2001. Truth and Real History Exposes Propaganda To defeat terrorism, one needs to counter their propaganda and guilt manipulation campaigns with truth and real history. You can only fight an ideology with a better ideology. Lies must be exposed by facts. Truth does not fear investigation. Resist Terrorists Terrorists are violent criminals, cowardly bullies who tend to flee when they meet determined resistance, such as at the St. James Massacre, 25 July 1993, where one armed missionary stopped the attack and forced the terrorist to flee. Armed Citizens Frustrate Terror Tactics Armed citizens save lives. Terrorists prefer unarmed victims. Ensuring that the general citizenry have the right and freedom to obtain firearms and training will do more to end sporadic acts of terrorism than anything else. Where a high percentage of a country is armed, trained and ready to resist, terrorism must fail. If you want peace, prepare for war. Switzerland is a good example of an armed citizenry providing an effective deterrent to attack. The Dooms of King Alfred, Magna Carta 1215 and the English Bill of Rights of 1689 all guarantee the rights of all free men to keep and bear weapons for self-defence. It is time that these historic rights be restored. “…Do not be afraid of them. Bizarrely, Obama and Clinton were listed amongst the better presidents and Jimmy Carter was somewhere in the middle. The obviously biased and partisan criteria utilised in this very prejudiced study makes it practically worthless, but still an interesting commentary on those who are attempting to educate the rest of us as to what makes a good, or a bad national leader. According to U.S. News, which compiled its 10 Worst Presidents rankings, they averaged presidents' scores from three separate metrics: C-SPAN's 2021 Presidential Historians Survey, Siena College's Presidential Expert Poll and the Presidential Greatness Rankings conducted by professors at the University of Houston and Boise State University. Who do you think is the worst president of all time? Several years ago, while Barack Hussein Obama was president of the USA, I was a speaker at a Biblical Worldview Youth Conference in Colorado. A guest lecturer made the statement that Obama was the worst president in American history. Was Jimmy Carter the worst president in American history? I commented that he should also consider the damage caused by the foreign policies of Jimmy Carter's presidency: 13 countries were betrayed to communism in the 4 years of Jimmy Carter's disastrous presidency. This included American allies such as Nicaragua, betrayed to the communist Sandinistas and Rhodesia betrayed into the hands of Robert Mugabe’s Marxist ZANU terrorists. Not to mention the Shah of Iran betrayed into the hands of the Ayatollah Khomeini's jihadist crazies. Over 40 years later the people of Zimbabwe and Iran are still suffering the consequences of Jimmy Carter's treacherous foreign policies. "…'Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore the wrath of the Lord is upon you.'" 2 Chronicles 19:2  The Catastrophic Consequences of FDR’s Foreign Policies No sooner had I made this point then I felt a hand on my shoulder and heard Dr David Noble say: "Peter, you are wrong! In terms of damage done, consider the catastrophic consequences of Franklin Delano Roosevelt foreign policy: he betrayed one third of the world's population into the hands of communist tyrants such as Joseph Stalin!” What about Abraham Lincoln? Then, somebody from the back of the hall shouted out:“and it all started with Abraham Lincoln!” Inverting Reality and Ignoring Results Yet, according to the Clinton News Network and Useless News these were some of the best presidents of America! Ministering behind the Iron Curtain into Eastern Europe, the persecuted Christians that I fellowshiped with were no fans of FDR! Freedom Betrayed His lend lease technology transfer of vast quantities of high-tech weaponry, tanks and aircraft that saved Stalin's Soviet Union from collapse and betrayal of Eastern Europe into the hands of the most Antichrist bloodthirsty mass murdering dictatorship in history ranked him as one of the very worst leaders in all of history. When I was involved in Bible smuggling behind the Iron Curtain, I quickly learned that Yalta was a swearword amongst the Christians of Eastern Europe. Yalta and Operation Keelhaul It was at Yalta that Stalin, Churchill and FDR redrew the map of Europe to condemn Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Poland, eastern Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Albania to communist domination and oppression. A secret agreement at Yalta, codenamed Operation Keelhaul condemned millions of Russians and Ukrainians living in Western Europe to be forced, literally at gun and bayonet point by the Allies into the hands of the Soviet NKVD. This included multitudes of unfortunate women and children who had been born in Western Europe and had never even lived in Russia, descendants of those who had fled the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. From 1945 to 1947, over 3 million Russians, Ukrainians and other East Europeans were forced across what would become known as the Iron Curtain into the hands of the murderous Bolsheviks. Many tens of thousands were immediately shot, most ended up as slave labour in the Arctic hellholes of the Soviet GULAG concentration camps in Siberia. Assassinating Allies The Polish Christians added that FDR and Churchill conspired to assassinate the Polish commander Gen Sikorski, 4th of July 1943 at Gibraltar. Władysław Sikorski, his daughter and the high command of Poland all died in a mysterious plane crash in which only the pilot survived. The fact that communications between US Pres Franklin Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill during June and July 1943 are still sealed has added to the suspicion that the Polish leader was removed because of his demands for independent international investigation into the brutal Katyn Massacre of tens of thousands of Polish officers and NCOs by their Soviet allies. "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption." 2 Peter 2:19  The Objective Standard by which All Leaders are Judged Is there an objective standard by which we can evaluate leaders of nations? Yes, the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of Almighty God. In the Bible books of 1 and 2 Kings, each leader is evaluated in terms of their worship, whether they were faithful to God or not, and their ethics and policies, whether they upheld justice and the Law of God or not. Kings who tolerated, or participated in, Idolatry, Immorality, Interfaith worship or apostasy were condemned as failures. Those leaders who allowed prostitution, or perversion, and child sacrifice were condemned as evil. Kings who foolishly went to war when they did not need to are condemned as bad leaders. Those who failed to live up to their promises, or who violated the Covenant, are condemned. Those who feared God, upheld Biblical justice, protected lives and property, led the nation in prayer and repentance promoting work ethic and worship are described as good Kings. Although he was by no means perfect, King David is praised as Israel's greatest King and "a man after God's own heart." King Ahab is condemned as one of the worst of all the Kings of Israel and Judah. Ahab married Jezebel, a Phoenician princess, whose schemings and false charges against Naboth enabled Ahab to covet and seize his Vineyard. This treacherous event marked the beginning of the prophet Elijah’s ministry. Elijah famously confronted Ahab and Jezebel and then their false prophets on Mount Carmel. This contest culminated in God spectacularly sending fire upon the altar in answer to the fervent prayer of Elijah. “And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21 Character and Conduct Determine the Fate of a Nation The Southern kingdom of Judah had 19 Kings and one queen, 12 of whom are condemned for having done evil in the eyes of the Lord. 8 are commended and 2, Hezekiah and Josiah, are highly praised for their diligence in opposing immorality and uprooting idolatry. In the northern Kingdom of Israel, all 20 kings were bad, 14 of which were severely condemned for being exceptionally evil. While the South had one dynasty, the northern Kingdom of Israel had 9 dynasties with the succession precipitated by assassinations 6 times. The Bible shows that the character and conduct of a king decides the fate of a nation. The Bible books of 1 and 2 Kings catalogues why both Israel and Judah were judged, defeated, exiled and scattered. The Scripture makes clear that God hates all idolatry and child sacrifice. The division of Israel, the fall of Jerusalem, the exile and scattering of the tribes of Israel make clear that God is serious. He is a holy God and we cannot break His Law with impunity. As warned in Deuteronomy 28, there are catastrophic consequences for a nation turning away from God. What we sow we shall reap. "If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 All civil authority is delegated by God and answerable to God “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people” Proverbs 14:34 Our Lord Jesus Christ declared: "'You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above…'" John 19:11. All civil authority is delegated by God and answerable to God. "For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; it is He Who will save us." Isaiah 33:22. How should we evaluate presidents in the light of these Biblical standards?  Ultimately only what the Eternal Judge declares Matters It really does not matter what some biased journalists (presstitutes actually), or prejudiced politicians or atheist academics think or say. What does the Word of God say? Many leaders who are highly praised by the world media have "done evil in the sight of the Lord." The Biased Broadcasting Corporation Slime magazine, Newspeak and Useless News may praise some individuals as the greatest, but if they supported the killing of children by abortion their presidency is an abomination in the sight of God. Similarly, presidents who supported compulsory secular humanist education did evil in the sight of the Lord. Those presidents who on their watch allowed the Bible to be removed from school classrooms, prayer to be outlawed in government schools, evolutionism, cultural Marxism, critical race theory and gender confusion to be force-fed to generations of children in state schools funded by the taxpayer: What will those presidents have to say to the Eternal Judge on the Day of Judgement? "For we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." 2 Cor. 5:10 A Trail of BetrayalDuring the 4 years of the presidency of Jimmy Carter, 13 countries fell to communism. In most cases, they did not just fall to communism, but were actually betrayed into the hands of communist revolutionaries. It was a high foreign policy goal of Jimmy Carter's presidency to force the people of Rhodesia to hand over to Robert Mugabe's ZANU terrorists. Americans voted out Jimmy Carter from the presidency over 32 years ago. However, the longsuffering people of Zimbabwe are still stuck with Carter's legacy in the form of Robert Mugabe's murderous Marxist dictatorship. "You shall do no injustice in judgement. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbour." Leviticus 19:15 A Legacy of Liberty No countries fell to communism during the 8 years of Ronald Reagan's presidency. In fact countries started to be freed from communist oppression. Ronald Reagan put freedom on the offensive, supported resistance movements in communist countries and helped win the Cold War that brought down the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain. The collapse of communism throughout Eastern Europe in 1989, brought about a new era of religious freedom and Missionary activity that had previously been inconceivable.  Strength and Weakness As one politician observed: "There is nothing they despise more than weakness; there is nothing they respect more than strength!" America was plainly despised in the days of Jimmy Carter. However, America was respected under Ronald Reagan. Persecution Increases As a missionary to persecuted churches, I could not help but notice, that during the Bill Clinton era, we witnessed and experienced a steady increase of violent persecution of Christians in the Muslim world. It was in the 1990s that radical Islamic regimes, such as the National Islamic Front in Sudan, began systematic terror bombing campaigns of churches, hospitals and schools. It was at that same time that I experienced artillery and aerial bombardments while ministering in churches in Sudan. In 1996, as I flew into South Sudan immediately after the US elections, the Governor of Equatoria greeted me on the airstrip with: "How could the Americans elect Clinton Again!?!" "…Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" Joshua 24:15 Promoting an Explosion of Persecution After Obama became president of the USA, and as a result of his Arab Spring intervention, support of the radical Muslim Brotherhood and launching and funding of the ISIS terrorist group which brought massive destabilisation to the Middle East, toppling the stable American ally in Egypt and overthrowing the government of Libya, there was an unmistakable escalation of violent attacks on Christians worldwide, particularly in the Muslim Middle East. Literally hundreds of churches were bombed and burned throughout Northern Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan and Iraq. Between 2010 and 2015 there were over 1000 attacks on churches in northern Nigeria and over 17,000 Christians were killed by Boko Haram Islamic jihadists. The Lord Jesus Christ declared: "The Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Cornerstone. Whoever falls on that Stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder." Luke 20:17-18  American Foreign Policy Affects Lives I'm sure that most Americans do not think foreign policy when they vote for their president. However, believers in Africa and the Middle East would earnestly entreat our brethren in America to seriously consider the foreign policy implications of their votes. Lives are at stake. Jesus warned us:" Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!" Luke 12:4-5 Doomed There is no doubt that millions of people died throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East because of the foreign policies of Jimmy Carter. Tens-of-millions continue to suffer to this day as a result of the Carter foreign policy legacy, including the people in Iran. It needs to be remembered that the Shah of Iran was one of America's closest allies in the Middle East when Jimmy Carter's State Department actively worked to betray their ally and push Iran over to the ayatollahs. The end result of that has yet to be seen as Iran continues to be a volatile part of the extremely violent Middle East. Delivered However, as I wrote in my article: Ronald Reagan Saved Lives in Angola, there are many millions of people alive, and free, today, because of the far-sighted and courageous foreign policies of President Ronald Reagan. Economic Success Considering the impressive economic progress made by the United States of America under Pres Donald Trump, it seems grossly unfair for CNN to label him: the worst president. Donald Trump made America energy independent with the lowest unemployment rate and lowest illegal border crossing rates in recent history. He left America with its strongest southern border, a revitalised military, low fuel costs and low inflation. Most importantly, he was the first American presence in many years to not initiate a new war! Perhaps that is the reason why the deep state and its compliant mainstream/lame stream media rejected him. Perhaps they think it is unpatriotic to not fuel the “military industrial complex” with more expensive overseas endless wars! His Abraham Accords strengthened peace in the Middle East and his diplomacy surprised everyone by meeting with the North Korean dictator and averting what many had been predicting as an inevitable war with nuclear armed North Korea. Disastrous During the disastrous Obama presidency a billboard appeared with a smiling Jimmy Carter declaring: “at least they can't call me the worst president anymore!” With more and more evidence coming out of rampant corruption, drug abuse and the American State Department and CIA engineering of the overthrow of the elected government in Ukraine and its replacement with a corrupt puppet client state, the Obama presidency should be considered for "the worst presidency"  23A Policy of Promoting Perversion - The Gay Ukraine Connection
The democratically elected Ukraine government that was overthrown in the violent 2014 coup d'état had laws against LGBTQ perversion and grooming of children. However, after the 2014 revolution, the American installed regime immediately began to pass legislation promoting the Gay and transgender agenda. Even the head of Britain's MI6 recently tweeted that the war in Ukraine is important because it is over the values that distinguish Western Europe from Putin’s Russia, the values of LGBTQ rights! This confirmed what Russian Orthodox Church patriarch Kirill observed: that America wages wars against those who will not promote the LGBTQ gay marches and perverted agenda! If that is true, then the world is being pushed towards a 3rd World War as a result of a policy of promoting perversion. Fake News, Fake Elections and a Fake President The Biden White House is an example of what election interference can achieve. As the Twitter files demonstrate, federal intelligence agencies urged Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms to, suppress any information deemed unfavourable, censor dissent, deplatform those considered to be a threat to the leftist/globalist agenda and to promote the Biden presidential campaign. Possibly one of the most incompetent and corrupt administrations ever seen in the Western world (which is saying something when considering Justin Trudeau’s oppressive government in Canada and Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand.) In terms of suppressing free speech, restricting religious freedom, mandating the masquerade madness, lockdown lunacy and salvation by vaccination Covid cult, Biden, Harris, Trudeau and Ardern must rate as some of the worst governments ever seen in the Western world. Yet inexplicably Biden is not even refer to in the latest listing of worst presidents. Surely Biden must be a candidate for one of the very worst. He has trouble putting two sentences together and one foot in front of the other. When the president needs to be guided by a man in a rabbit suit, something is seriously wrong. The Demographic Timebomb Unprecedented millions of illegal migrants have crossed the southern American border illegally along with and explosion of drugs and human trafficking under Biden's Open Borders policy. An open border is no border at all. The shocking increase in crime, drugs and violence that has come along with this invasion is apparently considered acceptable to radical democrats who see these illegal aliens as easily manipulable future voters to swamp and counter the rising populist tsunami that supports Trump’s Make America Great Again movement. Some radical democrats are openly speaking about the need for a great replacement to permanently alter the demographics of America by importing welfare dependents who can be counted on to vote for their party no matter how disastrous their political failures. Stolen Elections yet again in Zimbabwe
Logistical Failures and Missing Ballot Papers   General elections were held throughout Zimbabwe on 23 and 24 August 2023 for one presidential seat, 210 parliamentary seats and 1,770 council seats to be elected for a five year term. The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation reported that in 5 wards in Manicaland citizens were not able to vote at all because of logistical difficulties of the ZEC, including the failure of ballot papers to arrive. Voting in another 35 wards was delayed, 11 of these wards were in the capital of the country, Harare, which is a stronghold for the opposition. This ultimately lead to ZEC declaring 24 August 2023, as an additional voting day. Although, according to Zimbabwean law, voting is required to take place within one day. There were overnight queues. There were reportedly delays of up to 10 hours in opposition stronghold areas. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission acknowledged the late distribution of ballot papers at some polling stations and blamed it on printing delays. “Select capable men from all the people - men who fear God; trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain - and appoint them as officials...” Exodus 18:21 Most seriously, 41 independent poll monitors /observers were arrested during the election. Numerous accusations of vote rigging were made. There is no way that the recent Zimbabwean elections can be declared free and fair, as confirmed by observers from the Southern African Development Community (SADC), with widespread reports of voter intimidation and the cancellation of opposition rallies. Observers also listed censored media coverage (the State controls the news media, print, radio and TV in Zimbabwe) and new, draconian laws like the Patriotic Bill, which authorizes penalties, including the death penalty, for anyone found guilty of "willfully damaging the sovereignty and national interest of Zimbabwe." The vague wording gives authorities ample scope to use and abuse the bill against political opponents. Election Day itself was shambolic, with polling stations in opposition strongholds far more likely to experience significant delays and inadequate materials than others. Ruling party agents intimidated voters at “exit poll” tables where they recorded citizens’ personal details before they voted, while disinformation campaigns discouraged people from turning up to vote at all. Independent journalists and election observers were denied entry to the country, and local observers working on the parallel vote tabulation were arrested. "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption…" 2 Peter 2:19 Foreign Journalists Banned and Independent Observers Arrested  Official Results Questioned  Officially, according to the ZEC: the ruling Marxist party, Zimbabwe African National Union - Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF) won 136 seats and the opposition Citizens’ Coalition for Change( CCC ) won 73, with ZANU–PF dominating most rural areas (primarily Mashonaland) and the opposition CCC capturing the urban vote, particularly Harare and Bulawayo and Matabeleland. Officially, the ZEC election commissioner announced on Saturday that: Zanu-PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa, 80, won the election with 52.6% of the vote, while opposition Citizens’Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa,45 years old, received 44% of the votes. According to the official results, Zanu-PF presidential candidate Emmerson Mnangagwa got 2.46 million votes, or 52% of the votes cast, compared with the Citizens Coalition for Change candidate Nelson Chamisa’s 2.15 million votes, or 45% of the votes cast. The opposition has rejected the results and outside observers have raised serious questions about the process. “They stole your voice and vote but never your hope,” Chamisa wrote on X, the site formerly known as Twitter. “There shall be freedom and justice in Zimbabwe!”( Fortunately, the people of Zimbabwe have more freedom of speech than those in United States of America where questioning the official election results can get one arrested.) The main opposition party, in Zimbabwe, the Citizens’ Coalition for Change (CCC), has rejected the official election results and demanded that the country should redo the election. Saviour Kasukuwere, a former Zimbabwean Cabinet Minister disqualified from running for the presidency by the High Court, said that Zimbabweans were "dismayed" and that the whole process was a "charade." Kasukuwere, declared that the ZANU-PF government has “No legitimacy.” "We can't continue with this charade where you want to keep the country in isolation because you want to win elections illegally," In the words of veteran opposition leader and former Zimbabwean Finance Minister, Tendai Biti: “Millions of Zimbabweans hoped for change. They hoped to be delivered from the scourge of unemployment, poverty, decayed infrastructure, collapsed public services, captured institutions, violence and an exhausted liberation movement that continues to hold them hostage.” The opposition immediately contested the results, with Chamisa calling the vote "fraught with unprecedented illegality." Speaking on Sunday, the CCC head described the ZEC election results as "doctored" and "criminal." Chamisa describes the Zimbabwe elections as: “blatant and gigantic fraud.” “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people” Proverbs 14:34 The Failure of South Africa's Silent Diplomacy with a Murderous Regime Evidently South Africa’s "silent diplomacy" with Zimbabwe has been an abysmal failure and has instead increased the humanitarian burden on South Africa and other neighbouring states which accommodates millions of refugees who have fled from the failed state of Zimbabwe. As ActionSA leader Mashaba has declared:"But instead of demanding accountability from Zanu-PF, the ruling ANC party has chosen to support the murderous ZANU-PF regime and has even provided millions of dollars in bailouts to the nation. The ruling party(ANC) has repeatedly allowed Zanu-PF to abuse the Zimbabwean people, leading to thousands of Zimbabweans crossing our borders to seek jobs, healthcare, and shelter in South Africa." " We cannot allow a situation where humanitarian disasters are created because the South African government favours murderous regimes instead of demanding accountability for human rights abuses," said the ActionSA leader. “…Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2  Unbelievable The official results of the Zimbabwean elections held last week are that Zanu-PF won, yet again! What we are being asked to believe is that one of Africa’s least successful political parties (which managed to reduce GDP per capita in real terms from $1,600 at independence in 1980 to under $1,300 today, 50 years later, in real terms after several bouts of hyperinflation which destroyed almost everybody's savings, pensions and earnings) has been endorsed, yet again, by the majority of its citizens. Either Zimbabweans are the most intellectually challenged and economically benighted people in the world, or there is something suspicious going on here. “Have nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11 US State Department recognises that the elections in Zimbabwe were unfree and unfair The United States condemned recent presidential elections in Zimbabwe. The US State Department says that the ruling party suppressed the opposition and hindered independent observers. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller declared in a statement Monday: “We call on the ZEC to make the disaggregated polling station results publicly available to increase confidence in the result tabulation process,”. Miller said the reported intimidation and interference with electoral observers undermines democratic rule and U.S. diplomats are discussing their concerns with regional leaders. The U.S. has a long history of financial and political support for Zimbabwe and was the first to open an embassy there after independence in 1980. Just in fiscal year 2022, the U.S. provided $398.59 million in aid to Zimbabwe. US assistance also included $12.91 million to support democracy, human rights and governance in Zimbabwe.  Comparing Zimbabwe Elections and Economy with Botswana Compare this disastrous, downward economic trajectory with Botswana next door; Botswana is also landlocked, also the product of British colonialism, also dominated by a single party, also mineral export-dependent. Botswana’s GDP per capita in real terms has risen from around $2,000 in 1980, according to economics website Trading Economics, to $7,000 over the same period. South Africa’s was about $4,500 in 1994 when the ANC were handed power, and it’s now around $6,000. It is generally accepted that any government of a country where the economy is in decline will be voted out of office by the electorate. It is unprecedented that voters who are suffering economically vote for the government under whom their economy declined. Zimbabwe suffers from soaring inflation, high unemployment, poor public health resources and a weak education system. Although it is full of natural resources, such as gold, platinum and lithium, mismanagement and corruption hasn’t translated those minerals into substantial revenue to benefit the population, leaving the government in massive debt to international lenders, particularly Red China. “You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting...” Daniel 5:27  Neither Free nor Fair According to the Zimbabwe observer missions, the elections were far from free and fair. International election observers stressed that there had been problems with the poll. They cited an atmosphere of intimidation against Chamisa's CCC supporters. Even the SADC Electoral Observation Mission, which is normally very cautious about making forthright judgements, said the poll was “well below expected standards”. The mission talked about the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission’s failure to distribute ballots on time, resulting in delayed polls in some parts of the country; the inability of voters in Manicaland to cast any votes, the banning of foreign journalists and opposition rallies; and a shadowy group called Forever Associates Zimbabwe linked to Zanu-PF, which set up “survey desks” outside polling stations in an intimidatory manner towards voters. No reasonable person would call these elections fair, which is why several observer missions, including the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the European Union, issued statements pointing to profound flaws in the process. But the deck was stacked well before these observer missions arrived on the ground. The pre-election climate featured draconian new legal restrictions on freedom of expression and the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), which is blatantly politicized and widely mistrusted, tilted the playing field in multiple ways, including undertaking a partisan delimitation exercise that failed to account for the growth of Zimbabwe’s urban centres and neglecting to fulfil its legal duties of making an accurate electronic voters’ roll available to candidates. Rural areas which are the traditional support bases of ZANU have many more seats, whereas urban areas which are traditional strongholds of the opposition have far fewer seats proportional to their population. “Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice.” Isaiah 1:16-17 The violation of the Lancaster House Agreement and the Fraudulent 1980 Elections   ZANU-PF came to power through blatantly fraudulent elections in 1980 where they failed to adhere to the requirements of the Lancaster House peace agreement and engaged in massive intimidation and terrorism, murdering opposition supporters and assassinating opposition candidates. Yet, the British Governor Lord Christopher Soames failed to disqualify Mugabe’s ZANU-PF as required by the Lancaster House agreement. Nor did Gov Soames rule inadmissible the votes in areas where ZANU-PF intimidation had been rife. By rewarding the blatant violations and ignoring the murderous intimidation tactics, the British Foreign Office taught Mugabe’s Marxist ZANU-PF terrorists that it did not matter how many laws they violated, nor how many people they murdered, as long as they won the election, they would be accorded every courtesy, welcomed as members of the Commonwealth, the African Union and the United Nations and receive hundreds of millions of pounds and dollars in foreign aid. Having come to power through deception and violence, ZANU has continue to maintain its power through deception and violence. Zimbabwe's security forces have a history of cracking down on protesters around election time. This happened in the last national elections in Zimbabwe, 2018, when soldiers killed six people after opening fire on demonstrators and bystanders, and in 2008, which saw dozens of deaths and abductions. "Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for Me against the workers of iniquity?" Psalm 94:16 Historic Voting Patterns in Zimbabwean Elections If you look at Zimbabwe’s elections historically, you cannot help but notice some absolutely extraordinary things. We cannot tell what happens in the voting booths, but one thing we do know is how many votes were cast. The first noticeable thing about Zimbabwe is that the proportion of people who are registered voters is very small compared with the population. Supposedly, officially, there are 16 million Zimbabwean citizens. That means 35% of the total population is registered. Compare that with SA, where about 40% are registered, and Namibia, with about 53% registered. The small proportion of voters registered in Zimbabwe is suspiciously low. The second thing to notice is that in Zimbabwe’s case, when you compare the past three elections, the number of registered voters is declining. That is quite bizarre. How can that possibly be happening? In a young country, it should be increasing as more of the youth reach voting age. That is what is happening in South Africa and Namibia. South Africa adds about a million new voters per election.
Yet, incredibly, even though the number of registered voters is declining, the number of votes cast is increasing in Zimbabwe. The percentage of votes cast as a proportion of registered voters has exploded — it’s now sitting at 85%. So, in this past election, we are supposed to believe that 85% of registered Zimbabwean voters cast their votes. By comparison, in both SA and Namibia, the number of votes cast as a percentage of registered voters is about 70% and that, by international standards, is extremely high. You can get some very high and very low voter turnouts around the world. Brazil has just had one of the most fiercely contested elections in its history in which 79% of registered voters voted. The UK’s most recent election, also hotly contested, drew about 67% of registered voters. But an 85% turnout is extremely rare. Based on these figures, it would appear that the Zanu-PF supporters, who make up most of the electoral authority, are engaging in that old trick of the incumbent government: they are not updating the voters’ roll unless the voters can be relied on to vote the right way. Unfortunately, inevitably, some voters are dying, so that reduces the total voters’ roll. And that would, of course, inflate the proportion of votes cast, which is exactly what we are seeing. There are also reports of votes for the ruling party from citizens who are deceased. By controlling the ballot in this way, Zanu-PF can effectively steal the election — but subtly. Doing so is never going to be entirely invisible. But the point is that it can be stolen in a way that offers a sufficient amount of doubt which will allow the party to make the claim, dubious as it may be, that it and the president were democratically elected. This was not a poll “below expected standards”. The book articulates how United Nations Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 will radically restructure everything throughout the world. One could call the Great reset the Great Revolution. Its goal is ultimately a global welfare state where everybody will be dependent upon a globalist state for everything. It will necessitate the abolition of faith, families and nations. Social Darwinian Big Bang Politics The Great Reset has a social Darwinian view of political progress. In common with the big bang theory of evolution, these globalists believe that by burning everything down, out of the ashes Utopia will arise. Marxist revolutionaries have thought like this for a long time. By blowing up enough things, paradise will be established. In 1987, I heard liberation theologian Alan Boesak declare: "out of the ashes of Pretoria will arise new Jerusalem!" In accordance with Sabbateanism, these revolutionaries believe that evolution leads to Revolution ! Therefore they must blow up and burn down the existing order, so that they can Build Back Better!  Agenda 21 In the future, you will own absolutely nothing, but you will like it and “be happy,” according to the globalists pushing what they call “The Great Reset.” You will also have no privacy, they say. Everything will change. And yet, somehow, the advocates of this communist vision of the future — the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations (UN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) — have decreed that “you will be happy!” This “Great Reset” is a globalist pipe dream that aims to transform the world and everything in it, supposedly for the benefit of the masses, but really for the benefit of the ruling classes. Radical Restructuring of Everything “The Great Reset” aims to fundamentally reengineer industries, societies, education, agriculture, relationships and even human beings. Its advocates, such as WEF leader Klaus Schwab, declare that “all aspects of our societies and economies” need to be “radically restructured.” Even “our thinking and behaviour” will have to dramatically change. New Foundations for Global Government “Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” insists Schwab, calling for “stronger and more effective” global government. “We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems.”  BC and AC In his book: COVID and The Great Reset, Schwab insists that that life must “never” be allowed to return to normal. “The world as we knew it in the early months of 2020 is no more, dissolved in the context of the pandemic.” Klaus Schwab added that the looming changes are so huge that some are now speaking of “Before Coronavirus” (BC) and “After Coronavirus” (AC) eras. Mass Management of Minds Schwab also called a change in “mind-sets” the “most important” issue. “We have to ... bring our thinking and behaviour… into harmony…” “Now is the historical moment — the Time — not only to fight the virus, but to shape the system for the post-corona era.” Those advocating the Great Reset admit that the WEF founder has been working on the agenda “for many decades.” Fourth Industrial Revolution Schwab’s vision includes the “Fourth Industrial Revolution,” a key component of the Great Reset that involves merging man and machine into transhumanism will be a “revolution” that will “fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another.” The transformation, he maintains, will be “unlike anything humankind has experienced before,” bringing together “all stakeholders of the global polity.”  Population Control “Changing our current trajectory will require bold and imaginative action, together with determination and decisive leadership,” declared Prince Charles. “We need to evolve our economic model.... We need nothing short of a paradigm shift, one that inspires action at revolutionary levels and pace. We simply cannot waste any more time.” While Charles is a fervent advocate of population control, his father, Prince Philip, was even more blunt, famously expressing his desire: “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation.” This dangerous attitude is widespread among the elites advocating the Great Reset. Inclusive Capitalism In 2014, the Rothschild banking dynasty and the Rockefeller Foundation sponsored a summit in London on “Inclusive Capitalism.” Including Prince Charles, then-IMF chief Christine Lagarde, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Bank of England boss Mark Carney, former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, top CEOs, pension-fund bosses and participants, reportedly represented about one-third of the world’s wealth. Quoting Karl Marx about capitalism supposedly carrying “the seeds of its own destruction,” IMF boss Lagarde called for Global Wealth Redistribution, more taxes and more government. At the top of the agenda was getting companies to put shareholder interests aside in favour of the Agenda 21 draconian UN visions of “sustainable development.”  International Socialism UN agreements are serving as foundations of the emerging New World Order. In UN Agenda 2030, also known as the “Sustainable Development Goals,” almost every state government and dictatorship on Earth agreed to dictates of the Great Reset. In Goal 10 UN members pledge to “reduce inequality within and among countries … wealth is shared and income inequality is addressed.” As the UN document also makes clear, international socialism is needed to battle inequality even “among” countries. “By 2030, ensure that all … have equal rights to economic resources,” the document demands, sounding suspiciously like the Communist Manifesto. Instead of owning property and the necessities of life, the WEF video declares, “you’ll rent.” Apparently “whatever you want” will be magically “delivered by drone.” Mass Indoctrination The UN document also calls on government to seize control over “production and consumption.” It prescribes government-controlled healthcare systems for all. It demands that children be “educated” to the point that they do not just agree with the ideology underpinning the scheme, but are actually prepared to “promote” it. Goal 4 — “education” — will be the key to achieving all the others. In Chapter 36 of UN Agenda 21, an earlier UN sustainability agreement signed by every government on Earth, the document says “education” will be “indispensable” to changing people’s attitudes. “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11  Mass Migration Moreover, the video claims, a billion people will migrate from Third World nations to settle in the West owing to alleged man-made “climate change.” Westerners must welcome these “refugees,” it adds. The WEF video claims that the future will be property-less and borderless. Mass Murdering Marxists Support Agenda 2030 Communist leaders, including members of the mass-murdering Communist Party of China, are now openly joining forces with capitalist multinational corporations and Big Business CEOs to push the Agenda 21 scheme. The mass-murdering Communist regime enslaving China boasted in their propaganda organs that they played a “crucial role” in developing Agenda 2030. “While they promise them freedom, they themselves are slaves of depravity.” 2 Peter 2:19  Towards Transhumanism WEF leader Klaus Schwab, the most prominent marketer of The Great Reset, has proclaimed that a key element of the “Reset” will be the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.” In very public statements, he has explained what this means: merging man with machines. “What the fourth industrial revolution will lead to is a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identity,” Schwab explained in a speech to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Technology Transforming Thought In his book, published in 2016, Shaping the Future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the globalist schemer explains how looming technological changes will allow governments to “intrude into the hitherto private space of our minds, reading our thoughts and influencing our behaviour.”  Digital Merges with Biological “Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies will not stop at becoming part of the physical world around us — they will become part of us,” wrote Schwab. “Indeed… our smartphones have become an extension of ourselves. Today’s external devices — from wearable computers to virtual reality headsets — will almost certainly become implantable in our bodies and brains.” Reading Your Thoughts Among those technologies are “active implantable microchips that break the skin barrier of our bodies,” Schwab explained. These “implantable devices will also help to communicate thoughts normally expressed verbally through a ‘built-in’ smartphone, and potentially unexpressed thoughts or moods by reading brain waves and other signals.”  Pre-Crime Thought Police Schwab suggests these technologies would be used by governments to determine who may travel and for “pre-crime” purposes. “As … law enforcement agencies and courts to use techniques to determine the likelihood of criminal activity, assess guilt or even possibly retrieve memories directly from people’s brains will increase… a detailed brain scan to assess an individual’s security risk.” WEF Summits Every year, WEF brings together billionaires and mass-murdering dictators from around the world to promote globalism and technocracy under the guise of “helping” humanity. The major tech companies — Facebook, Google and Microsoft— are involved. Billionaires, such as George Soros, are key players. Disgraced “climate” guru Al Gore, who serves on the WEF board, is also shilling for the Great Reset, along with Skull and Bones member John Kerry.  Cyborg at The Summit At the 2018 World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates, top globalists and world leaders gathered to push, among other key issues the normalization and glorification of “cyborgs.” Indeed, the Summit in UAE offered a prominent role to a “cyborg” named Neil Harbisson, who argued that governments must facilitate the transition to becoming “part-technology, part-human.” “I have an antenna that is implanted inside my head, which allows me to extend my perception of reality beyond the visual spectrum,” said Harbisson, co-founder of the Cyborg Society and the Transpecies Society, which fights for people who “identify” as nonhuman. “I can sense infrared and ultraviolet, and I also have an internet connection in my head that allows me to receive from other parts of the world, or connect to satellites so I can send from space.” Return to Baal Worship The year before that, globalists at the World Government Summit gathered under a replica of the “Arch of Baal,” a monument to the demon god of the Canaanites frequently referred to in the Bible. More than a few saw it as an ominous sign. “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2  Post Humanism “It is very likely, within a century or two, Homo sapiens, as we have known it for thousands of years, will disappear,” Harari said at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. “We will use technology to upgrade ourselves — or at least some of us — into something different; something which is far more different from us than we are different from Neanderthals.” The establishment media has been breathlessly parroting his propaganda. Aside from the fusion with machines and technology, globalist elites are also pushing for genetic modification of everything — including humans. In fact, Microsoft tycoon Bill Gates has openly pushed for such schemes. In 2018, he touted gene-editing technology in Foreign Affairs, the mouthpiece of the Council on Foreign Relations. More recently, he has celebrated vaccines that literally alter the genetic code of those receiving them. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." In early November of 2021, the world was shocked by the sudden announcement of a massive Russian military build-up along Ukraine’s eastern border. The long-simmering territorial dispute over the Donbas, a region in eastern Ukraine that is culturally and linguistically Russian, almost overnight became a potential theatre for a major war between East and West. American and European leaders lined up in support of Ukraine and its president, Volodomir Zhelensky, even as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin drew a line in the sand. Ukraine, Putin insisted, was historically part of Russia’s sphere of influence and could not be permitted to join NATO. The West, in turn, accused Russia of threatening Ukraine’s sovereignty and vowed resolute action against Russia, including possible military involvement, should Putin invade.  Threats and Counter Threats President Biden threatened drastic consequences. While the American Biden administration is evidently not at all interested in protecting America’s own borders, it is apparently willing to go to war to defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine. American Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) of the Senate Armed Services Committee, threatened to “rain destruction on the Russian military” should Putin launch an invasion of Ukraine, a campaign that might include nuclear strikes, since “we don’t rule out first-use nuclear action.” Dmitry Kiselyov, head of the Russian state-owned news organization Rossiya Segodnya (Russia Today) told the BBC that Russia was preparing to deploy more missiles, including its vaunted new hypersonic missiles. “If Ukraine ever joins NATO or if NATO develops military infrastructure there, we will hold a gun to America’s head. We have the military capability,” Kiselyov told BBC. “Russia has the best weapons in the world — hypersonic ones. They’d reach America as fast as US or British weapons could reach Moscow from Ukraine. It would be the Cuban missile crisis all over again, but with a shorter flight time for the missiles.” Kiselyov warned that America could be “turned into radioactive ash” if Russia’s conditions were not met.  Luhansk and Donetsk The Donbas region has been part of Russia for centuries. It first rose to international significance in the 19th century as a result of its enormous coal resources. The largest city, Donetsk, was founded by a British industrialist who made a fortune there mining coal. After the Bolshevik Revolution, the Donbas region was incorporated into the Ukrainian portion of the Soviet Union. However, its overwhelmingly Russian population and industrial might have made the region a flashpoint of contention. The local population is decidedly in favour of independence from the corrupt, kleptocratic, and discriminatory Ukrainian government and even of outright annexation by “Mother Russia.” In March 2014, after the revolutionary overthrow of the elected Ukrainian government, a separatist war erupted in the region along with Russia’s annexation of Crimea, another Russian majority territory. Amid bitter fighting, Russian separatists seized control of most of the Donbas and proclaimed two independent republics, Luhansk and Donetsk. Much of Ukraine is almost entirely ethnic Russian — the Donbas, Crimea and the major Black Sea city of Odessa are actually Russian populations.  The Expansion of NATO Russia has been increasingly alarmed at the advance of NATO into its backyard, which has seen the amalgamation of many former Soviet republics and Warsaw Pact allies. Despite previous assurances by the West to Russian officials after the breakup of the Soviet Union that NATO would make no inroads into the Russian sphere of influence, the ensuing decades have seen the three Baltic republics — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — as well as Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, and many of the previous regions of the former Yugoslavia all formally join NATO. Moreover, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, and Kazakhstan are all beneficiaries of Individual Partnership Action Plans, or formal cooperative agreements with NATO, that might be upgraded to Membership Action Plans in the future. With the exception of China, Finland and the Russian Far East, Russia now finds herself virtually encircled by NATO members or potential members. And nearly all of these new European NATO members have also joined the European Union.  Nationalism vs. Globalism It is understandable that Russia is deeply suspicious of Western motives. A post-Cold War policy of strategic encirclement has left Russia increasingly isolated, except for ally Belarus. NATO was founded for the stated purpose of countering Soviet expansionism. But following the collapse of the communist menace of the Soviet Union, NATO expanded instead of disbanding. NATO redefined its mission to include the decades-long war in Afghanistan. Just as NATO is the most powerful international military alliance ever created, so too is the European Union the most effective attempt at economic and political union in history. The European Union, originally created out of the deceptively named European Common Market, has become an attempt to set up a centralised regional government. The goal of such continental arrangements is to drastically reduce the number of independent nations and provide for the integration of regional Unions into a global government. Former U.S. National Security Advisor and globalist Zbigniew Brzezinski declared in 1995, “We cannot leap into world government in one quick step.... The precondition for eventual globalization — genuine globalization — is progressive regionalization, because thereby we move toward larger, more stable, more cooperative units.” Regional military alliances, especially NATO, are promoted as a means of internationalizing military force, to prepare for the eventual consolidation of regional military alliances into a global military as an indispensable ingredient of a consolidated global government.  Resisting the New World Order Russia remains nationalistic and resistant to assimilation into existing international systems. Russia is very reluctant to enter into any type of binding agreement or treaty with other countries or under any international authority. The ultimate objective of the internationalists is the establishment of a single world government. Most of their actions are guided by their objective of creating political, military and economic conditions favourable to the establishment of such a New World Order. All of the major innovations in foreign policy since World War II — the establishment of the United Nations, the WHO, World Trade Organization, the IMF and the World Bank, the establishment of the European Union and the formation of permanent international military alliances, especially NATO — have had as their purpose replacing independent nations with world government. A Warning from the New American: “While the partisans of world government have always preferred a peaceful, incremental approach, there can be no doubt that a nuclear war between the West and Russia would furnish the ultimate pretext for fast-tracking world government — a pretext they would certainly not hesitate to exploit should such a war occur. A nuclear World War III would be an unprecedented calamity not only for the lives of millions of people, the fabric of modern civilization, and the rest of life on Earth, but also for future generations who would likely face permanent bondage under a world government in which an independent America was only a distant memory. American leaders have no sound moral or strategic interest in the broils of eastern Europe, and it is deadly folly to risk nuclear war — and its abyssal aftermath — by meddling in quarrels whose moral contours are unclear and whose outcome ought to be none of our business. The meddling needs to stop. Americans should insist, therefore, that their elected representatives in Congress get the United States out of NATO and the United Nations and adopt a noninterventionist foreign policy” Charles Scaliger (TNA February 14, 2022)  First Hand Experience I have served the persecuted Church throughout Africa and Eastern Europe. I had the privilege of travelling on numerous occasions with Rev. Bill Bathman in East Germany, Hungary, Yugoslavia, ministering in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Albania. I have numerous friends in Eastern Europe and have also ministered to Russians in Africa, including during the war in Angola and Mozambique. When I was captured by communist forces in Mozambique in 1989, I was escorted by Russian forces in Mi8-Hip helicopters and then in an Antanov 26, to Machava (SNASP Security) Prison in Maputo. Double Standards and Hypocrisy Many of my East European friends think that Biden’s US government is extremely hypocritical, considering that the Americans betrayed over 100 million Christians in Eastern European countries, to Stalin's Soviet Union through the Yalta Agreement in 1945. Ukraine was freed by Germany in 1917 and this independence was reluctantly recognised by Vladimir Lenin's Soviet Union in the Brest-Litovsk Treaty of March 1918.  Double Betrayal However, in 1919, through the Versailles Treaty the Allies betrayed the Ukraine back into the hands of the Soviet Union. Many millions of Ukrainians were slaughtered under, first Lenin's and then, Stalin's brutal purges. Ukraine was again liberated by Germany in WWII, but then betrayed by Allies, through the Yalta Agreement, back into the blood-stained hands of Stalin's Soviet Union. Under Operation Keelhaul over 2 million Russians and a million Ukrainians in Western Europe were forcibly repatriated by British and American troops into the hands of the Soviet NKVD, most massacred out of hand and the rest consigned to slave labour in the GULAG in Siberia. “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption…” 2 Peter 2:19 Strength and Weakness Referring to the Communists, Winston Churchill declared: "There is nothing they respect more than strength. There is nothing they despise more than weakness!" Valiant Struggle for Freedom The Ukrainian Army continued to fight for their freedom and independence for 10 years after the conclusion of WWII. Units of the Ukrainian Army were still operating, with field artillery, fighting valiantly against Soviet oppression, as late as 1955. Yet without receiving any support from the Allies, because what FDR called the Arsenal for Democracy seemed dedicated primarily for Josef Stalin's communist dictatorship of the Soviet Union.  Capitalists Saved Communism from Collapse As our friends in Eastern Europe point out to us, without the extravagant support of the United States, United Kingdom and Canada, Stalin's Soviet Union could not have survived Operation Barbarossa in 1941. Even before America entered WWII officially, vast quantities of military hardware were being flown, shipped and trucked into Russia via Alaska, Persia and Murmansk. An official list of military hardware supplied by the USA to the USSR from 1941, includes: 7,056 tanks; 14,795 military aircraft; 51,503 Jeeps; 375,883 trucks; 35,170 motorcycles; 8,071 tractors; 8,218 artillery pieces; 131,633 machine guns; 345,735 tonnes of explosives; 1,981 locomotives; 90 cargo ships; 4,478,000 tonnes of food supplies; $1,078,965,000 of machines and equipment; 2,670,000 tonnes of petroleum products; 49,860 tonnes of leather; 3,786,000 tyres; 15,417,000 pairs of army boots; 106,893,000 tonnes of cotton; building equipment valued at $10,000,910,000; another 802,000 tonnes of non-iron metals; along with 29 oil tankers; 433 combat ships; mobile bridges; railway equipment; aircraft radio equipment and vast amounts of other items. This list does not include the very generous aid given by Great Britain to the Soviet Union, which included 5,800 aircraft; 4,292 tanks and 12 mine sweepers. Canada supplied the Soviet Union with another 1,188 tanks; 842 armoured cars, 1,000,000 artillery shells and 208,000 tonnes of wheat and flour. "Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this the wrath of the Lord is upon you." 2 Chronicles 19:2  Failure to Support Freedom However, no aid was supplied to the Ukrainian Freedom fighters, or the Lithuanian forces, who were battling the most brutal dictatorship in the history of the world. So our friends in the Ukraine are extremely cynical about what NATO, the EU and the US are involved in now, interfering in this Ukrainian - Russian conflict. Lessons of History As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, declared: "If we do not know our own history, we will simply have to endure all the same mistakes, sacrifices and absurdities all over again." Strategic Realities Russian friends point out that there is no way that President Vladimir Putin can allow Russia's only ice-free port in the Crimea to fall out of the control of the Russian Federation. As Murmansk is up in the Arctic Circle and under ice most of the year and Vladivostok is frozen up with ice half the year, the Russian Navy's only ice-free ports are in the Crimea. To compare what is at stake, one should consider what Americans would think if California (with the strategic San Diego Naval Base) or Virginia (with Norfolk) strategic naval bases were to secede and be affiliated with Russia. How acceptable would that be?  Short-sighted and Disastrous Patrick Buchanan has dealt with the consequences of these short-sighted policies and double-standards in his books: A Republic - Not An Empire; and Churchill, Hitler and the Unnecessary War - How Britain Lost Her Empire and The West Lost the World. The New Evil Empire Christians in Russia have expressed their shock at how America has become a new evil empire. Promoting abortion and privileges for perverts, with an aggressive pro-homosexual agenda, bullying Africa governments to legalise abortion and homosexuality, and sending generous aid to radical middle-Eastern governments, which severely persecute the Christian Church. Fuelling Islamic Extremism Most Americans seem oblivious to the devastating consequences of their State Department's foreign policy: The bombing and burning of churches in the Middle East that followed the Arab Spring, was in so many ways funded and fuelled by US State Department policy. The devastation of Christians in Iraq, where under the dictator, Sadam Hussein, Christians were protected, but now under the Islamic democracy installed by American forces, Christians are severely persecuted. More than a million Christians have fled Iraq since the US invasion of 2003. These realities are seldom understood in America.  Christian Casualties of Western Policies Now the US government is channelling aid to Al Qaida affiliated Islamic Jihadists in Syria, who are viciously persecuting Christians in the areas that they control. The secular military dictatorship of Assad had left the Christians alone. At 6% of the population, the Christians in Syria were not considered a serious threat and were actually protected from radical Islamicists. Now by supporting Islamic insurgents who are turning Syria into a catastrophic bloodbath, the West destabilised one of the last countries in the Middle East where Christians were experiencing some stability and protection. A Warning from Russia Xavier Lerma of Pravda in Moscow, wrote: "Reagan called the Soviet Union the Evil Empire and rightly so. The Soviet Union was the Russian people held hostage by the Communists. Putin and Reagan listened to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Those who listen to their elders tend to be wiser. Vladimir Putin allows Christianity to flourish, unlike the liberals in America, who have their own warped idea of freedom from God and a denial of evil's existence in the world.  The Spiritual Threat "There is a reason why most public schools in America do not teach the Bolshevik Revolution and its true consequences. There are people in the West that want to remove everything related to Christ from public view, just as the Communists did during the Soviet enslavement of Russia. 21st century Russia is proof that Christianity can prevail against darkness and confusion. Today the liberals who control the West fear Putin as though doomsday was tomorrow. It is not a nuclear threat, but rather a spiritual renewal that threatens them. It is not Putin, but Russia's Christianity they fear. Rather it is Christ they truly fear and hate. They tried to persuade Americans by scaring everyone with ideas of Putin as the evil KGB out to destroy the world… They demonized Putin because it is not our world, but their liberal world that is in danger of being destroyed. Ignoring Christian Brothers "How can conservative media sources in America, who claim to be Christian, ignore their Christian brothers in Russia, who are now successful? Martyrs they ignore and the blood that was shed to restore the Christian Church in Russia. They are con-artists playing the conservative side as fools while the liberals enslave the rest. Devout Russian Christians are on the march… not like the Communist Soviet Union, who spread wars like Obama and the US are doing now. These Russians are like disciples of Christ, who lovingly reach out to their brothers and sisters, helping men and women in darkness, enslaved by a materialistic society, who are truly in need of Christ."  The Pink Agenda Xavier Lerma wrote that the reason Western media are demonizing President Vladimir Putin in Russia, is because Russia has passed laws strengthening the penalties for "propagating homosexuality amongst minors, and for insulting peoples' religious convictions in public." The so-called Gay Propaganda Bill introduced fines for propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations to minors, including on the media, on the internet and via viral adverts. Under this law, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transvestite (LGBT) rallies are prohibited, as is the distribution aimed at forming non-traditional sexual morality in children. Fines and imprisonment are prescribed for the propagation of homosexuality in Russia. The All Russia Public Opinion Centre showed that 88% of Russians supported this amendment to the law. Reversal of Roles It is an incredible irony that religious freedom is under assault by the US Democratic Party and government while the Russian government is printing Bibles to place in hotel rooms! It is an incredible reversal of fortunes that the countries behind what used to be the Iron Curtain, now have some of the most dynamic Christian Churches and the highest percentage of Church attendance in Europe.  Church Growth It would appear that Western decadence, immorality, materialism, compromise and superficiality in Churches and shallow, sensational entertainment, have been more deadly to the Church than virulent atheist propaganda and vicious communist persecution in the East. Today there are more Evangelical, born-again Christians in Russia than in any other country in Europe. The Ukraine has the second largest group of Evangelical Christians in Europe, followed by Romania. When Russians enjoy more religious freedom in public than Americans, then something is seriously wrong. When Russians expressed their concern about lack of freedom and spiritual discernment in America, we should be very concerned. Pray for the Christians in Russia and Ukraine

World Leaders Praise Tutu The announcement of the death of Anglican Bishop Desmond Mpulo Tutu on 26th December 2021, at age 90, has led to much outpouring of praise for this prominent prelate who has been described “the personification of the South African Freedom Struggle”, “An icon of the Freedom struggle”, “Hero of the Nation”, “The Nation’s pastor” and what the BBC called “The staunch and steadfast healer of a nation.” “The Face of the Liberation Struggle” Frank Chikane, described him in this way: “Tutu was the face of the liberation struggle. The voice of the people. He was a key prophetic voice.” “Public Enemy Number 1” His biographer, John Allen, wrote that to the old South Africa “Tutu really was public enemy number 1.” “Carrying the Whole Country on his Shoulders” Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela said that Tutu “was carrying the whole country on his shoulders …. He was almost like royalty, representing the journey towards freedom for everybody.”  “The Nation’s Pastor” SACC leader Peter Storey described Tutu as: “The nation’s pastor.” The New South Africa is his Legacy Cyril Ramaphosa described Tutu as: “An outstanding South African who has bequeathed us a liberated South Africa.” Praise from the Pope Pope Francis lamented the death of Tutu and praised him for promoting “racial equality and reconciliation.” Historic Impact Joe Biden declared that Tutu’s legacy will “echo throughout the ages.” A “Universal Spirit” Barack Obama released a statement calling Tutu a “Universal spirit.” A Champion for Human Rights Buckingham Palace released a message of condolence in the name of Queen Elizabeth, describing Tutu as “a man who tirelessly championed human rights in South Africa and across the world.”  Disturbing Facts that Undermine the Narrative However, there are others who do not share the perspective of these prominent leaders. Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu had a decades long record of supporting abortion, the homosexual agenda, ordination of women to the priesthood, theological liberalism, collectivist economic theories and Marxist class warfare. Promoting Abortion The Marie Stopes abortuary in Cape Town had a pull-up banner of Bishop Tutu promoting abortion in their waiting room. Desmond Tutu posed for this picture on behalf of Marie Stopes International, the world’s largest abortion provider. Marketing Marie Stopes Abortion Industry Although he was meant to be retired from public life in 2010, this 2011 public endorsement of the “invaluable work” of Mary Stopes International praised Marie Stopes South Africa for “empowering people” and “giving people the opportunity to make informed decisions about their future and the choice.” When asked if he had been paid for making this statement and posing for this picture, the Desmond Tutu Foundation would neither confirm nor deny, but simply stated that the Desmond Tutu Foundation does receive donations.  What about the Right to Life of Pre-born Babies? John Ritchie, Director of Tradition Family and Property Student Action asked: “Why should someone who doesn’t even respect the basic right to life be honoured … ?” Rejecting the Inerrancy of Scripture Desmond Tutu insisted that there are mistakes in the Bible because people wrote it. “There are certain parts which you have to say No to.” For example that “women should not speak in church … women should not be ordained. There are many things you shouldn’t accept.” (Tutu: Voice of the Voiceless by Shirley Du Boulay, 1988). Questioning the Virgin Birth ‘’Some people thought there was something about Jesus’ birth … maybe Jesus was an illegitimate Son.” (Cape Times, 24.10.1980). Universalism In St. Albans Cathedral, in Pretoria, 23.11.1978, Desmond Tutu declared: “The Holy Spirit is not limited to the Christian Church. For example, Mahatma Gandhi, who is a Hindu … the Holy Spirit shines through him.”  Revolution In a report on 20.4.1986, Tutu was quoted as saying: “Every Christian must be a revolutionary. Jesus was a revolutionary.” Praising a Marxist Dictator Tutu publicly thanked communist dictator, Samora Machel, for all that he and his Frelimo government had done for Mozambique! This seemed an amazing attitude to take towards an atheist who had declared war on the church, destroying, or confiscating and closing over 8,000 churches, imprisoning hundreds of thousands of believers, massacring at least 75,000 people, banning the Bible and expelling all missionaries. Would Rather Go To The Other Place than a Homophobic Heaven Over the last 20 years Desmond Tutu was very prominent in advocating gay rights. Tutu declared: “I would refuse to go to a homophobic Heaven. No, I would say Sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place! I would not worship a God who is homophobic and that is how deeply I feel about this. I am as passionate about this campaign as I ever was about apartheid. For me, it is the same level.”  Promoting Same Sex Marriages, Condoms and Ordination of Women as Priests In 2011 Tutu called on the Anglican church of South Africa to accept and conduct same-sex marriages. In 2005 he criticised Pope Benedict XVI for opposing the distribution of condoms: “To fight HIV-AIDS.” He also criticised Pope Benedict for opposing the ordination of women as priests. Methodist Upbringing and Migration to Anglicanism Desmond Tutu was born 7 October 1931 in Klerksdorp to a Xhosa-speaking family. His father was the principal of a Methodist primary school. His family, who were Methodist, later changed to African Methodist Episcopal (AME) and later to the Church of the Province of South Africa (Anglican). Supported by Harry Oppenheimer When Desmond Tutu applied to join the Ordinance Guild, his application was turned down due to his debts. These were then paid off by wealthy industrialist, Harry Oppenheimer. In the 1960’s and 70’s he travelled widely internationally and benefited from grants to obtain his degree and Masters. His Master’s degree was on Islam in West Africa. (Rabble-Rouser for Peace; The Authorised Biography of Desmond Tutu by John Allen, 2006). Liberation Theology In the early 1970’s Desmond Tutu adopted Liberation Theology and Black Theology after attending a 1973 conference on the subject at New York City’s Union Theological Seminary.  Ecclesiastical Platform for Political Issues In 1975 he was installed as Dean of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Johannesburg. From this point Desmond Tutu used his ecclesiastical positions to speak out on social issues, publicly endorsing international sports and economic boycotts of South Africa. In May 1976 he wrote to Prime Minister B.J. Vorster, warning that if the government did not abandon apartheid, racial violence would erupt. Six weeks later the Soweto Riots broke out. Bishop of Lesotho When Desmond Tutu was nominated to be Bishop of Lesotho, March 1976, the congregation of St. Mary’s were upset and felt that he had used their parish merely as a stepping stone to advance his career. Black Consciousness Movement of God In September 1977, at the funeral of Pan African Congress revolutionary, Steve Biko, Tutu stated that the Black Consciousness Movement was being used by God. Leader of the South African Council of Churches When Desmond Tutu accepted the leadership of the South African Council of Churches in March 1978, many Anglicans in Lesotho felt angered that he was abandoning them so soon and that they had only been used to advance his career.  Anonymous Foreign Donor The Tutu’s home in Orlando West was bought for them by an “anonymous foreign donor.” Desmond Tutu stated that he was determined that the South African Council of Churches (SACC) would become the “most visible human rights advocacy group” in the country. His time as head of the SACC was dominated by fundraising for the organisation’s projects. Financial Scandal While he was in charge of the SACC it was revealed that one of its divisional directors had been involved in massive embezzlement of funds. At the 1981 Eloff Commission to investigate the misappropriation of SACC funds, Desmond Tutu used the opportunity to attack the South African government as “evil” and “unchristian.” It was suspected that the SACC was channelling funds to ANC and PAC revolutionaries. Public Support for the ANC At a trial of Umkhonto We Sizwe (ANC terrorist wing) members, Desmond Tutu testified that, although he was committed to non-violence, he could understand why the ANC had turned to violence to overthrow apartheid. Desmond Tutu also publicly signed a petition calling for the release of ANC leader Nelson Mandela, who was imprisoned for acts of terrorism. This led to correspondence between Tutu and Mandela.  Worldwide Agenda In 1979 Desmond Tutu told foreign journalists that he supported an international economic boycott of South Africa. In 1980 the South Africa Council of Churches committed itself to supporting civil disobedience. On international speaking tours Desmond Tutu met UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim, spoke at Westminster Abbey, met Pope John Paul II at the Vatican and was compared with civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. in America. However, Jerry Falwell and Pat Buchanan described him as a “communist sympathiser.” United Democratic Front In 1983 Tutu became the Patron of the United Democratic Front (UDF) which was widely recognised to be the internal arm of the ANC. Because of the prevalence of the brutal necklace murder (using an automobile tyre filled with fuel) to burn alive Black Town Councillors and others deemed as ‘sell-outs’), the UDF was referred to as Uniroyal Dunlop and Firestone (popular brands of tyres). “The Kingdom of God has arrived in Zimbabwe!” Desmond Tutu publicly praised the Mugabe ZANU regime takeover of Zimbabwe in 1980, declaring that the Kingdom of God had arrived in Zimbabwe! (Ecunews 11/1980).  Stoning more Effective than Sermons? While stone throwing was injuring and killing people on the roads, Desmond Tutu was quoted in the Daily Telegraph of London, November 1984, as stating; “One young man with a stone in his hands can achieve more than I can with a dozen sermons.” Blacks are Victims – Whites are Villains In the Argus, (19.3.84) Desmond Tutu declared: “Thank God I am Black! White people will have a lot to answer for at the last judgement!” Condemning Ronald Reagan When US President Ronald Reagan refused to impose economic sanctions on South Africa, Desmond Tutu condemned Ronald Reagan as a “crypto-racist” and Reagan’s government as an “unmitigated disaster.” Welcoming Soviets as Saviours During the height of the Cold War, while South African troops were locked in deadly battles with the Soviet Union and its Cuban surrogates in Angola, Desmond Tutu declared in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, in 1984: “If the Russians were to invade South Africa, most blacks would welcome them as saviours!”  Communist China Provides “a Very Good Model” He also declared to the Washington Enquirer (29.8.1986): “Communist China will provide a very good model for developing countries.” Socialist On economics, Tutu declared to the Sunday Times (29.12.1985): “I am a socialist. I hate capitalism.” Yet he lived in Houghton and Bishops Court, two of the most exclusive and richest suburbs in the country. Marxist Inside South Africa, April 1988, quoted Desmond Tutu as saying: “I think I would use Marxist insights, ‘from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.’ That, I think, is in line with what our Lord, Himself, would have taught.” Condemning the West to Hell When Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain and President Ronald Reagan of the United States refused to disinvest from South Africa, Desmond Tutu was quoted in the Cape Times (23.7.1986): “The West can go to hell!” “Mandela is My Leader” The Star (16.8.1985) quoted Desmond Tutu as stating: “Mandela is my leader and I am not going to be dictated to as to who should be my leader.”  “No Room for Peaceful Struggle” Interestingly, although Desmond Tutu was officially non-violent, Nelson Mandela had been quoted in the Washington Times as declaring: “There is no alternative to take up arms. There is no room for peaceful struggle in South Africa.” Which could be one of the reasons why Desmond Tutu did not have a good relationship with Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi of the Zulus. Prince Buthelezi worked tirelessly, effectively and peacefully for reform within South Africa, yet was condemned by Mandela and Tutu for doing so. Dr. Buthelezi observed that Mandela’s armed struggle delayed the end of apartheid by decades. Irresponsible Suggestions The Volkskrant, Holland, 15.11.1984, quoted Tutu as saying: “Imagine what would happen if only 30% of domestic servants in white households would poison their employer’s food?” On WNBC-TV, December 1985, Tutu said: ”Suppose you gave them each a vial of arsenic … they look after the white people’s children …” The Sunday Times, 26.1.1986, quoted Tutu as saying: “Is it not surprising that Black resistance has not blown up a school bus with white children. They are the softest target.”  The Westdene Bus Disaster When a double-decker bus carrying 72 high school students went off the causeway into a small suburban dam in Westdene, March 1985, 42 children drowned that afternoon. The bus driver, who was described as non-white, William Horne, survived. His passengers had all been white Afrikaans school children. Conspiracy theories and allegations came fast and furiously in the next few weeks. Yet, Desmond Tutu continued to publicly speculate on what harm Black people might do to white children. Nobel Peace Prize In 1984, Desmond Tutu was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Prize Selection Committee said that they wanted to recognise a Black South African to make a political statement and thought Desmond Tutu would be a less controversial choice than either Mandela or Mangosuthu Buthelezi. Bishop of Johannesburg In 1985 Desmond Tutu was enthroned as Bishop of Johannesburg. In his inaugural sermon he declared that he would call on the international community to introduce economic sanctions against South Africa.  The Country was Burning Because of the UDF Desmond Tutu declared: “We face a catastrophe in this land, and only the action of the international community by applying pressure can save us. Our land is bleeding and burning and so I call the international community to apply punitive sanctions against this government to help us establish a new South Africa.” What Desmond Tutu left out here is that the country was bleeding and burning as a direct result of the actions by the UDF that he was patron of and because the ANC, whose leader he said was his leader and whose objectives were his own. The Soviets Supplied the Bombs and Land Mines It was the very Soviets, who Tutu said he would welcome as saviours if they invaded the country, who were providing the landmines, limpet mines, car bombs and other weapons of terror, which were maiming and killing people in the streets of South Africa. Such as with the Church Street bombing of 1983. Making South Africa Ungovernable Not even the ANC’s call to make South Africa “ungovernable” could make Tutu to distance himself from the ANC as “the government-in-waiting.” In 1985 Desmond Tutu proposed a national strike.  Archbishop of Cape Town As Philip Russel announced his retirement as Archbishop of Cape Town, Desmond Tutu was in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving the Martin Luther King Jr. peace prize. He was informed that he had been nominated as the next Archbishop of Cape Town. The most senior position in the church of the Province of South Africa. The Archbishop and the Bible In the run-up to the enthronement ceremony at the Cathedral of St. George in Cape Town, Gospel Defence League printed 10,000 copies of The Archbishop and The Bible, comparing the public statements of Bishop Tutu with the clear teachings of Scripture. These compact booklets with the insignia of the archbishop on the purple cover, were distributed to delegates and guests as they came to the event. Literature Ministry We were handing out these booklets to clergymen arriving in their gowns at Cape Town International airport, and in Wale street outside St. Georges Cathedral, on the morning of 7 September 1986.  Public Protest There was a huge mob of Tutu supporters in the street and many international media present. Three of our people dressed in black walked slowly and solemnly towards the side of St. Georges Cathedral. There they solemnly laid a wreath against the stone walls of the church and stood back in an attitude of prayer. When questioned as to what did this mean? Why were they doing this? The media were informed: “This is in memory of the Anglican Church.” “We Will Necklace You!” There was an explosion of anger and outrage from the mob. One of the thugs screamed at one of our people, Cindy Leontsinus: “We will necklace you!” More threats and curses followed.  Mob Evangelism As a mob surrounded me I was challenged: “Why are you distributing these anti-Tutu booklets?” “They are not anti-Tutu, but pro-Christ; we are calling people back to the Bible.” “What do you see as wrong with Tutu?” “He is man-centered, not Christ-centered; his solutions are political, not spiritual.” “Do you disapprove of Tutu’s enthronement as Archbishop?” “Yes, certainly. I believe a church leader should be a man of prayer, not a man of politics.” “But Tutu is a man of the people!” “Maybe so, but he is not a man of God.” “a man of God must be a man of the people.” “Rubbish. A man of God must be a man of the Bible, capable of preaching Repentance to sinful, rebellious mankind. We must not be man pleasers, but people who seek to please God.” “The people have elected Tutu.” “Quite right, God has not chosen him, but people. And which people? The press has catapulted Tutu into this office, not God, nor the ordinary church members.” “Why are you here attacking Tutu?” “I am here standing for Christ, calling the church to return to Biblical standards, to reject worldly standard and return to God.” “You do not belong here - why have you come?” “Why have you come – are you an Anglican?” I countered. “No.” “Are you an Anglican?” I asked another. “No.” “Are you a Christian – do you love Jesus?” “I am against apartheid”, they replied. “The issue is not apartheid, it’s God and your relationship with Him. Are you born again?” “I am against apartheid”, came the monotonous parrot cry. “Fine, we know what you’re against, what are you for?” At this point the man broke into hate-filled swearing at me. “So, you see”, I pointed out, “this is the kind of supporters Tutu has.” More of the mob broke out in curses and threats toward me. “I do not see the love of Christ in your eyes. I do not see Christian love in your faces, only bitterness and hate. Repent of your evil, repent of your hatred. Turn from your sins and turn to Christ.” I challenged them. There was a shocked silence and then more hate-filled threats, curses and accusations.  While the Media was Distracted While this conversation was going on, I could see that Bishop Tutu had come outside through a side door and was standing at the top of the stairs in front of the closed main double-doors. He was dressed in his full Bishop’s regalia with a large crooked stick in his hands. He was at the point in the programme where he was to bang on the doors with his crooked stick in preparation for the doors to be flung wide and for him to enter in grand procession. But none of the media were on the stairs and he was plainly agitated, trying to call them to record this historic event. “You Have Chosen Barabbas!” Finally, the journalists realised that they were missing out on Tutu’s grand entrance. They positioned themselves in a semi-circle around Desmond Tutu to record his dramatic entry into the Cathedral. There was a moment of silence, as Tutu had his arm raised with his crooked shepherd staff about to strike the doors. One of our mission workers, John, shouted out for all to hear: “You have chosen Barabbas!” Desmond Tutu looked over his shoulder, as did the journalists, to see who had shouted that. They got the message. As The Sowetan and The Star reported the next day, “a small group of vigorous protestors from Christian Action nearly overshadowed the main event.”  Political Eucharist Show After the ceremony at St. Georges Cathedral, Tutu held an open-air Eucharist for thousands of people in the Cape showgrounds in Goodwood (where the Grand West casino stands today). He invited Allan Boesak and Albertina Sisulu to give political speeches. Personal Evangelism We were standing at the entrance, handing out our booklets to people streaming in. “Enjoy the show,” I said. People received The Archbishop and The Bible booklets enthusiastically, probably assuming they were official programmes. Many evangelistic discussions and opportunities for counselling and prayer resulted from these street outreaches. “If Jesus Came to South Africa …” On Friday 13th February, 1987, Archbishop Tutu declared before a crowd of 4,000 at a graduation ceremony of the University of the Western Cape: “If Jesus Christ came to South Africa today, He would be in trouble with the authorities because of his solidarity with the poor, the oppressed and the hungry. And He would certainly be detained!” (Cape Times, 14.2.1987).  Would He Be Detained? … Or Necklaced? At the time I responded by publishing a leaflet entitled: “If Jesus came to South Africa, would He be detained? Or Necklaced?” In this leaflet I wrote: “Sensational and irresponsible declarations like these are hardly unique in this time of fanatical hysteria and radical propaganda. Nor is it that unusual that a leader of a church hierarchy could espouse emotive and manipulative political nonsense. What is amazing is that 4,000 people could listen to such unsubstantiated fiction without at least some real Christians standing up to challenge this political priest. Mob Violence “If Jesus came to South Africa today … would He be detained? … Or is it not more likely that He would be burnt to death, necklaced, by the same kind of mobs which screamed: “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” Luke 23:20 Religious Leaders Conspired to Have Christ Crucified “Or has Archbishop Tutu so neglected to study the Scriptures that he has forgotten who contrived to arrest and crucify Jesus? Does Tutu not recall that it was the religious leaders; the scribes and Sadducees, Pharisees and chief priests – the theologians, the bishops, priests and archbishops of that time who ruthlessly plotted the murder of God’s Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ. And the reason was not so much political, but religious. It was because the religious leaders would not believe that Jesus was who the Old Testaments prophecies said He was. Of course, many of our religious leaders today – theological professors, bishops and ministers, are also guilty of this sin of unbelief and reject the Deity of Christ and the Inerrancy of Scripture.  The Political Leader Found no Reason to Condemn Jesus “The Bible clearly teaches that the Roman governor, Pilate, tried to find a way to set Jesus free - John 19:13; That this political leader declared: ‘I find no reason to condemn Him’ - John 19:65; ‘I cannot find any reason to condemn Him’ - John 19:4; ‘I find no reason to condemn this Man’ – Luke 23:4.” The Mob Chose Barabbas It was the hypocritical religious leaders and the easily manipulated mobs of people in the street who demanded the death of Jesus and the release of Barabbas. “And there was one named Barabbas, who was chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion … but the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them.” Mark 15:7,11. The Religious Leaders Incited the Mob to Demand the Crucifixion of Christ “How like the archbishops of our day that the chief priests were more concerned about the release of a prisoner, a rebel and a murderer, than with the Son of God. Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them. But they shouted, saying, Crucify Him, Crucify Him!” Luke 23:20-21  They Leave Ruin and Destruction Behind Them How like the mobs of our day that they allowed themselves to be manipulated by ruthless and evil men to cause the death of the innocent. How like the illogical slogan chanting cliché-shouting fanatics of our day shouting: “Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practised deceit; the poison of asps are under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:13-18 “Release Barabbas!” How tragic that slogans, cliches and paradigms should replace the study of the Scriptures and logical discussion. “So Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested. And they released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will.” Luke 23:24-25 “Crucify Christ” How horrifying that political leaders like Pilate “wanted to please the crowd” - Mark 15:15. That a leader should be so led! That leaders could pay more attention to what is popular than to what is right. That a leader could listen more to the hysterical screaming of a mob than to the gentle, still, small voice of his conscience. “He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” Proverbs 17:15  Condemning the National Government and Condoning the ANC’s Objectives Desmond Tutu condemned the South African government as “evil … immoral … unchristian!” In 1988 Tutu declared that, while he did not support the use of violence, he did support the ANC’s objective of a non-racial, democratic South Africa. Celibacy is “Impractical” He also criticised the Anglican churches insistence that gay priests remain celibate, describing it as “impractical.” The National Council of Churches in Rustenburg In 1990, I was invited to be a delegate at the National Council of Churches in Rustenburg. Desmond Tutu was chairing this event. Although their press statement claimed that the NCC included 360 delegates from 200 denominations, the venue was advertised to have a capacity of 160 and I had the official Media List which had less than 160 people listed as attending from 39 different organisations, churches and universities. It was disturbing that the National Council of Churches could not even be honest about how many people were delegates and how many denominations were represented.  Towards a United Christian Witness in a Changing South Africa The NCC gathered in Rustenburg, under the banner: Towards a United Christian Witness in a Changing South Africa. We were informed that the Declaration that would come out of the NCC would be a synthesis of all the input from the different discussion groups. As I was the appointed scribe in our discussion group, I can testify that none of the recommendations of our group found its way into the final Declaration, which they declared had been “adopted unanimously” at Rustenburg! That was not possible because I was a vocal opponent of it and there was never an opportunity to vote anyway. Hostility to Pro-Life Convictions However, I must say that Desmond Tutu did actually speak up for me at the conference. My first contribution to a plenary session was reporting back on the recommendations of our discussion group. As I began: “We uphold the right to life of preborn babies …” there was an explosion of anger. Shouts and curses were directed at me, some by people wearing priestly and bishop garb! Anger at Raising Moral Concerns There was more anger when I read out: “we oppose the exploitative pornography industry. Families must be protected from pornography and perversion.” More shouts of hostility and anger was expressed at me.  Outrage that Concerns of Blasphemy and Pornography were Raised When I spoke against blasphemy and pornography, one of the delegates, Hugh Wetmore, of the Evangelical Fellowship of South Africa, stood up and actually declared that if we want freedom for the Bible and Christianity, we must allow equal freedom for pornography! Opposition to Bible Based Moral Education Controlled by Parents Then I spoke of the need for parental control of education, of the teachers and textbooks. Politicians should not be allowed to interfere in the moulding of the minds of future voters. When I said that education should be Bible based, moral and character building, the same evangelical leader, Hugh Wetmore, declared that “out of love for our neighbour”, we need to allow equal access for Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism in the schools. This seemed quite inconsistent as exposing our children to false religion and deception hardly seems loving. All this was said amongst heckling, interruptions and insults. When Tutu Spoke Up for Me The amount of hostility and interruptions directed against me led Bishop Tutu, as chairman, to have to remind the conference that I was a delegate and had a right to be heard.  National Controversy The Declaration that was finally issued from the NCC at Rustenburg basically parroted the mainstream media narrative and rubber stamped the ANC agenda. This led to much controversy in the media as I published press statements and letters to the editor countering the disinformation and dishonest statistics put out by the NCC, pointing out that it was by no means “unanimous.” There had never even been an opportunity to vote on the Declaration. I was told that it was “Peter Hammond Contra Mundrum.” The whole world wanted an ANC-led South Africa and I was interfering! The St. James Massacre When, on 25 July 1993, APLA terrorists of the Pan African Congress (PAC) attacked the congregation of St. James Church of England, in Kenilworth, one of our mission workers, Charl van Wyk, shot back, wounding the terrorist who was machine-gunning the congregation. As the terrorists fled, Charl pursued the terrorists into the parking lot and fired at their getaway car. Condemning the One who Shot Back Although Police Commissioner N.H. Acker gave a Commendation to Charl van Wyk for his quick and courageous action which “prevented further loss of life,” Bishop Tutu chose to condemn the congregant who shot back! The Cape Times and Argus quoted Bishop Tutu saying that it is “just not on” for worshippers to come to church armed!  Deception for a Media Photo Op Immediately after the St. James massacre, when the church sanctuary was sealed for investigation as a crime scene, Archbishop Tutu, with a media entourage, gained access to the site of the massacre by claiming to the policeman on duty that he was the head of the denomination! Most people were not aware that the Church of England in South Africa (CESA) is an entirely different denomination from Tutu’s Church of the Province in South Africa (Anglican denomination). As pictures of Desmond Tutu inside the bullet and shrapnel scarred sanctuary were published worldwide, the impression was gained that it was one of his churches that had been attacked. I received calls from people overseas asking how it was that “white supremacists” had butchered poor innocent Black people from Desmond Tutu’s denomination while worshipping in church! The Pan African Congress affiliation of the terrorist assailants was left out of most media reports. Also that most of the victims were whites in this multi-racial congregation. These facts were conveniently left out so as not to interfere with the narrative of Black victims and White villains. It did seem that Tutu exploited this tragedy for his image and narrative overseas.  Promoting the Gay Agenda Desmond Tutu criticised the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, at the 1998 Lambeth Conference of Bishops, for being “too accommodating to conservatives” who wanted to eject US and Canadian Anglicans from the Anglican communion after they had taken an LGBTQ stance on ordaining openly gay priests and bishops and promoting same-sex marriages. “Blair and Bush Should be Tried for War Crimes” In 2012, Tutu called for US President, George W Bush and British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, to be tried by the International Criminal Court for war crimes in the Iraq war.  Mandela gave Tutu South Africa’s Highest Award In June 1996, Nelson Mandela presented Desmond Tutu South Africa’s highest honour: The Award for Meritorious Service. “The Truth and Reconciliation Commission” From 1996 to 1998 Desmond Tutu was chairman of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission. Many saw this as a propaganda stunt, much like Stalin and Mao’s show trials to discredit the previous authorities. However, many in the ANC were horrified when revelations of ANC torture, attacks on civilians and other human rights abuses were also heard.  ANC Interference The ANC authorities sought to suppress those parts of the TRC report. Tutu was infuriated at this attempt at “government interference” and warned of the ANC’ abuse of power, stating that “yesterday’s oppressed could easily become today’s oppressors. We have seen it happen all over the world and we shouldn’t be surprised to see if it happens here.” “Mbeki’s Demands for Sycophantic, Obsequious Conformity” When Thabo Mbeki became president of South Africa in 1999, Desmond Tutu was concerned and publicly charged that the ANC under Mbeki’s leadership was demanding: “sycophantic, obsequious conformity.” Mbeki accused Tutu of “criminalising” the ANC’s military struggle and its Umkhonto We Sizwe (MK Operative).  Criticising Corruption Desmond Tutu criticised President Jacob Zuma’s “moral failings” of rape and corruption, and the ANC’s policy of “quiet diplomacy” towards Mugabe’s government, which he no longer regarded as “the Kingdom of God having arrived in Zimbabwe”. In fact, Desmond Tutu described Mugabe as “having gone bonkers in a big way.” In 2008, Tutu called for a UN peace-keeping force to be sent to Zimbabwe. Speaking Up for Muslims Suffering in Dafur Although he ignored the genocide of Christians in South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains, Desmond Tutu spoke out on behalf of Muslims who were suffering in the Western Province of Dafur in Sudan. “Worse than Apartheid” When Desmond Tutu invited the exiled leader of Tibet, the Dalai Lama to attend his 80th birthday, the ANC government prohibited his entry, so as not to offend Red China, who had invaded and occupied Tibet. Desmond Tutu declared that South Africa, under the ANC, was “worse than apartheid.” In 2013, Desmond Tutu declared that he would no longer vote for the ANC.  Disillusioned It is notable that, in later life, Desmond Tutu came to be critical of the ANC. Doubtless he was much disillusioned by how the promised paradise had turned out to be something of a hell hole. The fact that he was snubbed by the ANC when it came to Nelson Mandela’s funeral must also have hurt. A Hero to the World It is completely understandable that secular humanists, liberation theologians and Marxists, globalists and those who support the New World Order are praising Desmond Tutu as a hero, freedom fighter, saint and global icon. It is understandable that many in the mainstream media support a political priest who supported so much of their agenda, including abortion, euthanasia, the LGBTQ agenda, socialism and globalism. Do Not be Conformed to the World However, it is disturbing that so many evangelicals Christians, Bible-believing people are joining the world in parroting many of these extravagant and, in many cases, undeserved praises. Did Tutu Repent and Turn to Christ? There is no indication that Desmond Tutu ever repented of his rejection of the Virgin birth and rejection of the inerrancy of Scripture.  Inoculating People Against Christianity Many people were put off and repelled from the church by Desmond Tutu’s radical political pronouncements. A common refrain that I heard repeatedly: “I used to be an Anglican until I put Tu and Tu together!” Man-centered churches and political priests repel many away, or distract many, from our highest priority. The Need for Discernment Therefore, it is important to state that Desmond Tutu did not represent the true Church of Jesus Christ. His teachings were not an accurate reflection of the Bible. He did not faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Christ. We need to recognise that people fail. We are not calling anyone to the church or churchianity. You can find any number of failings and shocking scandals in people and political figures. But nobody can possibly point to any failings in our Lord Jesus Christ. It is He, The Way, The Truth and The Life that we must proclaim and focus on. “For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful Word as he has been taught, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.” Titus 1:7-9  Seek First the Kingdom of God The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. Our highest priority is the fulfilment of the Great Commission of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We must love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. We need to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. We must make disciples of all nations and teach obedience to all things He has commanded. Reject the False Gospel of Liberation Theology Liberation theology is a totally unacceptable distortion of the Scriptures. Their gospel is Marxism, their kingdom is communism. Their freedom ends up in oppression, their evangelism is subversion and their missionaries are, in many cases, rioters and terrorists. This is neither a theology, nor a liberation. “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him, who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel … but even if we, or angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:6-9

Parliament on Fire Early on Sunday morning, 2nd January, Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services received a call that smoke was seen coming out of the Parliamentary buildings. Fire fighters began arriving on the scene within six minutes of the report and before any fire alarm had been made from Parliament itself! Cape Town Fire & Rescue Services soon had five fire engines and 36 fire fighters on the scene. This later swelled to 70 fire fighters as the blaze continued to spread out of control.  Initial Damage Assessment City of Cape Town member for Safety & Security, J.P. Smith, said that the fire seemed to have started in the office complex on the 3rd and top floor (the offices for ANC MP’s) and gradually spread to the gymnasium. The roof of the old Assembly building had completely collapsed, the main Assembly chamber was gutted and there were cracks showing in the walls.  Destructive Fire fighters fought the blaze throughout Sunday before bringing it under control, but the roof burst into flames again on Monday afternoon. Many offices were severely gutted by the fire. Great damage was caused to the new Assembly wing which includes the National Assembly Chamber.  Suspected Arsonist Arrested Police reported that a 49-year-old (some reports said 51 years old) suspect had been taken into custody. It was reported that a man linked to the fire that gutted parts of Parliament is due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday. The suspect faces charges of housebreaking, theft and arson and will also be charged under the National Key Points Act.  Sprinkler System Disabled Minister of Public Works, Patricia de Lille, confirmed that the sprinkler system at Parliament had failed to operate, because the valves had been closed. The minister could not offer an explanation as to who had been responsible for this.  Library Preserved The Mayor of Cape Town, Geordin Hill-Lewis, reported that while the Parliamentary Library had some smoke damage, the fire had not reached the Library and it was safe. The mayor described the destruction of so much history as a “national tragedy.”  The Absence of Security Personnel It appears that the fire had been raging for some time before being reported. Reportedly, there were no security personnel in the building at the time, as Parliament was not willing to pay workers overtime during the New Year holiday weekend.  An “Opportunity to Relocate Parliament” The fire was still blazing when Deputy-President of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Floyd Shivambu announced that this burning of Parliament is an opportunity for the relocation of Parliament to Gauteng.  Centralisation in Gauteng Shivambu demanded that the “illogical” Cape Town location should be reconsidered. Rather than repairing the buildings, it would be better to move Parliament to Tshwane in Gauteng, “a central and easily accessible area where the administrative capital is.” “Keeping Parliament in Cape Town is plainly illogical! The pillar is One Capital City!” The Reason Why South Africa has Three Capitals At the Union of South Africa in 1910 it was determined that, in keeping with Reformation principles of Decentralisation, the three branches of government would be geographically separated. The Legislative capital would be Cape Town, the site of parliament. The Judicial capital would be Bloemfontein with the Supreme Court. The Executive capital would be Pretoria with Union Buildings.  EFF: “A Beautiful Fire!” EFF member of Parliament, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi described the fire as “beautiful.” On social media he exclaimed: “whatever the cause! Whatever the intentions, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL FIRE!” ”A Valuable Opportunity” Ndlozi declared that the fire offered South Africa “a valuable opportunity” for a “fresh start” to move Parliament to Tshwane. “A fire that allows us to start from scratch! A clean slate. Don’t renovate! Turn it into a museum as we accept a gift of such a beautiful fire! A clean slate to start afresh; IN TSHWANE!”  “A National Disgrace” DA member of Parliament, Dean MacPherson, responded: “Anyone who celebrates the burning down of Parliament doesn’t deserve to be an MP. They are a national disgrace.” “An Opportunity to Permanently Relocate Parliament to Gauteng” An official statement from the EFF declared: “If there is any appetite to curb wasteful government expenditure and to cut all ties related to the colonial framework established by those who conquered this nation, this fire must serve as an opportunity to permanently relocate Parliament to Gauteng. This will allow government work to be synchronised … the EFF has long called for Parliament to be relocated to a central location for political and cost-related reasons.”  Suspicious Timing of Arson at Parliament The African Transformation Movement (ATM) called for a multi-party committee to investigate the “suspicious burning” of Parliament after the devastation of this historic site on Sunday. The ATM declared that everything isn’t as it seems. “The ATM has noted the burning of Parliament with great suspicion. We trust that this is not another calculated shenanigan to issue unnecessary so-called emergency tenders for refurbishments, private housing of the opening of Parliament, or an attempt to scupper the inevitable secret ballot for No Confidence motion in Ramaphosa.” A Convenient Disaster to Derail Corruption Investigations The ATM noted that, with infections declining and Parliament planning to resume as normal, only hours away from viewing the State-Capture Inquiry Report, this fire is suspiciously convenient for the ANC government which would prefer their failures and corruption not to be subjected to debate in Parliament.  A New Excuse to Sideline Parliament and Accountability “With hospitalisations on the decline and the relaxation of the lockdown regulations, it is becoming clear that the normal operations of Parliament who were about to resume where Ramaphosa and his executive would be held accountable for mis-governing the country. Furthermore, it is suspicious that this happens on the eve of Parliament receiving the State Capture Report where Ramaphosa, the ANC and members of Parliament are implicated. A multi-party team should be appointed as a matter of urgency to get to the bottom of this strange and suspicious first-time occurrence. The ATM has no confidence in our Intelligence Services and thus this matter cannot be left solely in their hands.” The Missing Parliamentary Protection Service National Education Health and Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU) Parliament branch chairperson, Sthembiso Tembu, said: “Parliament can’t rely on the police alone. They are outside. We are supposed to have the PPS (Parliamentary Protection Service) inside 24 hours … the PPS were not there because they (management) said they cannot pay overtime.” Had they (PPS) been there, they would have been able to intervene and minimise the damage.”  Dysfunctional Administration at Parliament The Union said that it had already contacted administration over health and safety concerns last year. Recommendations of a 2018 report had not yet been put into place. Violations of Health and Safety Procedures DA Member of Parliament, Samantha Graham, also raised concerns about health and safety compliance issues across the parliamentary precinct in a 2020 independent BDO assessment. “I understand that the report details over 30 violations of concern. To date, the September 2020 report has not been publicly released.” Public Works and Infrastructure Minister, Patricia de Lille said: “The report is being processed.”  Comparing This Fire with the Incident 10 Months Ago This fire began on the 3rd (top) floor where ANC MP’s have offices. Ten months ago, in mid-March 2021, a fire broke out in a committee venue in the Old Assembly wing of Parliament, but was confined to the room as the sprinkler system was activated. An official fire investigation determined that it had been an electrical fault. Crime at Parliament Over the last 22 months of lockdown, Parliament has not operated at full capacity. Copper pipes have been stolen, drug dealing has been reported, break-ins and vandalism has been reported, such as with the trashing of the office of the opposition DA Chief Whip, Natasha Mazzoni. Security Failures Since 30 July 2015 the PPS has not had a permanent head. The incumbent leader and deputy were suspended over allegations of corruption and security breaches and one contract ran out while on suspension.  Devastating Security Failure Just when State Capture Enquiry is to be Debated ActionSA Western Cape Provincial chairperson, Vytjie Mentor, condemned the fire as “a severe security failure … ActionSA is appalled by the act of arson that has devasted a country’s parliament, along with what must be regarded to be a severe security failure. With confirmation of the arrest of a suspect, it is clear that this was no accident and it becomes difficult to view the tragedy in isolation with the tabling of the State Capture Commission of Enquiry next week, or the unrest witnessed in July last year.” Treason Against the People of South Africa “In addition to this act of criminality, serious questions have to be asked about security and fire systems in our Parliament. South Africa’s Parliament is a vital symbol in our Constitutional democracy. It was intended to be a sacred place where law makers represent the will of the South African people and hold the President and his cabinet to account. This act of arson which has wreaked havoc in this national key point cannot be reduced to another fire, but an act committed against the South African people. Action SA’s primary focus will be to ensure that law enforcement agencies conduct their investigations rapidly and without political interference, especially if this is found to be another consequence of the ANC factional fights.” It was speculated that the fire starting in the ANC MP’s offices on the third floor was probably convenient for those who are facing investigation for corruption with many records being destroyed.  The Oldest Parliament in the Southern Hemisphere Queen Victoria granted permission for the establishment of Parliament in the Cape Colony in 1853. The first sittings were held in the Governor’s residence, Tuynhuys. The Upper House was housed in the old Supreme Court buildings. Construction on the Parliament building in Cape Town began 12 May 1875 with then governor of the Cape, Henry Barkley laying the cornerstone. The first architect was Charles Freeman. The presence of ground water and other complications led to Freeman being replaced as architect by Henry Greaves in 1876. The stately building was finally opened in 1884.  Historic Buildings In the 1920’s, Parliament commissioned Sir Herbert Baker to build an extension, including a new chamber for the House of Assembly. The old Assembly chamber became the Parliamentary dining room. Further extensions were added in the 1980’s when the 1910 Constitution was replaced with the 1983 Tricameral Constitution. The original Parliamentary building was designed in a Neo-Classical style incorporating features of Cape-Dutch architecture. The ANC’s Intention to Relocate Parliament In 1996 when I was summoned to meet President Nelson Mandela, the subject came up over the ANC’s intention to relocate Parliament to Midrand, in Gauteng. I questioned how such an extraordinarily huge expense could be justified in the light of his promises of housing for all? Even in the 1990’s the money needed to build an equivalent structure would cost Billions of Rands. The National Archives alone required a colossal amount of floor space.  The Freemason Connection Carl Niehaus, the apostate drop-out theological student who was Mandela’s “theological advisor” said that the present parliamentary buildings could be sold to help finance this. To this I responded that actually they could not. As much of Parliament sits on ground which was owned by the South African Freemasons, the arrangement had been that the Cape government purchased the land for £1 on condition that if Parliament was ever to be moved, the land and all buildings on it would be sold back to the Freemasons for the same price, i.e., £1. While Carl Niehaus was plainly shocked to hear this, Nelson Mandela remained impassive and plainly was well aware of this provision. Nelson Mandela was himself a senior Freemason. The Plot to Destroy the Houses of Parliament On the 5th November 1605, the gunpowder plot to destroy the Palace of Westminster, which includes the House of Parliament and the House of Lords, in London, was thwarted with the arrest of Guy Fawkes and his associates. To this day the 5th November is marked with bonfires and the familiar “Remember, remember, the 5th of November, gunpowder treason and plot.” The attack on the parliament of a people is treason of the highest order. “If a fire breaks out and spreads … he who started the fire shall surely make restitution.” Exodus 22:6

To listen to a From the Frontline Podcast on this Article, Click Here State of Emergency Declared After a couple of years of encouraging moves towards freedom in Sudan, on Monday 25th October, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan announced the dissolution of the transitional government and a return to military rule under a “state of emergency.”  A Violent End to the Transitional Government Phone lines were cut. Sudan’s internet services were interfered with. There were widespread arrests. Protestors who came out onto the streets were dispersed with gun fire. The main roads and bridges into Khartoum were shut. Soldiers stormed the headquarters of Sudan’s state broadcaster in the capital’s’ twin city of Omdurman. Soldiers reportedly fired live rounds at protestors in the streets. The Transitional Sovereign Council and cabinet have been dissolved by General al-Burhan. Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok was apparently detained on Sunday night and moved to an undisclosed location after refusing to issue a statement supporting al-Burhan’s “state of emergency.” Following international condemnation of the coup, the Prime Minister, Abdala Hamdok and his wife were, apparently, returned to their home where they reportedly remain under house arrest.  The Rocky Road to Democracy in Sudan The background to these dramatic developments includes the successful secession of South Sudan from Sudan on 9 July 2011 and the overthrow of dictator Omar al-Bashir on 11 April 2019. Al-Bashir was placed on trial for corruption and genocide. A Transitional Military Council (TMC) was established. Massive protests resulted in a massacre on 3 June 2019 of around 100 people and a “march of the millions” on 30 June, which brought much of Khartoum to a standstill. Weeks of negotiations resulted in a power sharing agreement which sought to lead to eventual civilian rule. An 11-member Sovereign Council was established in which 5 civilian and 5 military members would work together with a civilian chairman elected by consensus and led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. At least 246 people died in this Revolution in Khartoum.  Sabotage and Subversion Opponents to the transitional government blocked the Red Sea ports to bring about shortage of fuel, wheat and essential medicines, to sabotage the attempted move towards freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom of conscience and abolishing Shari’a law, flogging, amputations and executions for, amongst other things “Apostasy.” Speculation within Sudan is that the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have, with the Muslim Brotherhood, worked to undermine the transition to civilian rule in Sudan.  God’s Law or Chaos Friends in Sudan have requested urgent prayer as their country is on the brink of chaos and civil war. “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the Law.” Proverbs 29:18 Firm Foundations By God’s grace, Frontline Fellowship used the window of opportunity provided by the ceasefire and unprecedented peace in Sudan to deliver and distribute hundreds of thousands of Bibles and New Testaments, along with tens of thousands of Christian school textbooks. Unless the Islamists and Jihadists are frustrated in their attempts to return Sudan to Shari’a law, the Nuba Mountains could well experience a resurgence of hostile attacks. Abandoned to the Taliban Afghanistan is only the latest in a long line of American Allies betrayed. As recently as the 8th of July, U.S. President Biden was adamant that the Taliban would not be able to overrun Afghanistan because Kabul had a well-funded and well-trained military. “The Afghan troops of 300,000 are well equipped - as well equipped as any army in the world – And an Air Force -against something like 75,000 Taliban. It is not inevitable… I trust the capacity to the Afghan military, who is better trained, better equipped and more competent in terms of conducting war." It only took the Taliban five weeks to prove Biden wrong and to expose the hypocrisy of America's 20 years of "constructive engagement" in Afghanistan.  From Fighting Terrorism to Promoting Perversion What began as a war against terrorism, targeting Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan changed into “nation building” - promoting radical feminism, LGBTQ gay agenda and flying the rainbow flag from the US embassy in Kabul. Many Afghans who had welcomed the Americans as liberators in 2001 grew to resent the promotion of immorality and perversion.  Counting the Cost How many Billions of dollars did the U.S. pour into Afghanistan? How many American soldiers and other Allied forces, were injured, crippled, or died, in that two-decade war? “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them…and they shall not escape.” I Thessalonians 5:3 Slandering Their Allies Considering that the Afghan National Army (ANA) lost over 66,000 men in combat fighting against the Taliban, it is neither honest nor fair to claim that they were not willing to fight to defend their own country! With the US closing their Bagram air base and withdrawing their logistical support, the supply chain, communications and air support essential for the Afghan National Army was terminated and collapse became inevitable. The US left behind vast quantities of high-tech weapons which have now fallen into the hands of the Taliban.  Reliability, Dependability and Credibility at Stake America’s credibility as a reliable ally has suffered yet another devastating blow. Who can trust a government that has such a long trail of treachery, betraying not only their allies, but their own citizens and troops into the hands of some of the most merciless Marxists and, in this case, Jihadists? “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2  A Trail of Betrayal Veteran Angolan Freedom Fighter, Jonas Savimbi, the leader of UNITA, observed: “It is better to be America’s enemy than America’s friend. If you are her enemy, you will probably be bought. If you are America’s friend you will certainly be sold.” I was a guest at Jonas Savimbi’s UNITA headquarters in Jamba in Free Angola. It was 1986. Jonas Savimbi was by no means anti-American. In fact, he loved American history and regularly would be quoting from George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. He looked up to America as a city on a hill, an example of Faith and freedom that he hoped to emulate in Angola. However, he was referring to the US State Department and its trail of betrayal.  Exporting Revolution Jonas Savimbi leaned across the breakfast table and asked: “Do you know why there hasn’t been a revolution in America for over 200 years?” His guests were at loss to know how to answer the question. The UNITA leader answered his own question: “The is no America embassy in America!” Everyone laughed and some squirmed in their seats. Coup D’état in Iran for Oil The involvement of American embassies in inciting, fostering and even organising coup d’états and revolutions around the world are well documented. Examples include the CIA Operation AJAX which orchestrated the 1953 coup d’etat overthrowing the democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in Iran. Oil companies were heavily involved in financing this street protests and buying of key leaders in Iran. Coup in Guatemala for Multinational Company In 1954, the CIA overthrew the President of Guatemala Jacobo Arbenz to establish a dictatorship which favoured the American multinational: American United Fruit Company.  Coup in Dominican Republic The coup d’etat in the Dominican Republic in 1962 was also organised by the CIA. (This was confirmed by the Church Commission in 1975.) Assassination and Coup in South Vietnam The 1963 assassination of South Vietnamese leader Ngodinh Dien was orchestrated by South Vietnamese generals who requested CIA’s support to bring about the coup d’etat. Coup in Brazil The 1964 coup d’etat in Brazil, including the street protests which ousted President Joao Goulard and replaced him with Brazilian Chief of Staff Humberto Castello Branco, whose forces were supplied with non-American weapons. National Security archives declassified documents confirm that President Lyndon Johnson planned this Brazilian coup with his advisors. The dictatorship managed to survive in Brazil until 1985.  Regime Changes These and many other regime changes are documented in John Jacob Nuttar’s book The CIA’s Black Ops: Covert Action, Foreign Policy and Democracy published in 2000. Subversion in South Africa In 1977, South African journalist Aida Parker documented, in the Citizen newspaper, that the American Embassy Reading Room in Soweto was deliberately subversive, stocking books, pamphlets, magazines and films of Vladimir Lenin, Mao Tse Tung, Karl Marx, Che Guevare, Fidel Castro and other Marxist revolutionaries.  Americans Abandoned I met Captain Eugene (Red) McDaniel of the US Navy and read his book Scars and Stripes – The True Story of One Man’s Courage Facing Death as a POW in Vietnam. After surviving six years of torture in captivity in Hanoi, Vietnam, he became involved the Vietnam war POW/MIA campaign to account for the thousands of Missing In Action Americans abandoned by their government. As Founder and President of the American Defence Institute (ADI) he sought to document the trail of betrayal of American Prisoners Of War or Missing In Action’s abandoned, not just in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, but in North Korea and China after the Korean War and in the Soviet Union after both the First and Second World Wars. He also introduced me to the book Kiss the Boys Goodbye – How the United States Betrayed Its Own POWs.  Deliberate Policy to List Living POWs as Dead Lt. Col. Philip Corso, who had once served on National Security Council staff under President Dwight Eisenhower, testified to the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA affairs, in 1992, that it was “a deliberate policy” to list as dead many of those American GIs who were known to be captured alive by the North Koreans during the Korean Conflict. Altogether some 8,177 US servicemen were unaccounted for from the Korean War. In 1955 President Eisenhower decided that the unaccounted-for POWs be declared dead. Col. Corso also testified that there were journalists who accepted money from the CIA to report the party line and ignore the reports on American POWs shipped to the Soviet Union. “The fate of our prisoners fell through the cracks. It wasn’t an accident. It was policy.” Americans Imprisoned in the Soviet Union Col. Corso also testified that train loads of American prisoners were shipped to the Soviet Union. “None of those boys ever came back!”  A Pattern of Denial and Deceit Senator Robert Smith (R-NH) concluded: “A large number of American servicemen at the end of the war…left behind were sent to communist China and to the Soviet Union. Internal documents and statements made at the time also show that our government believed that these men were still alive in captivity and until only a few months ago had kept that reality from the American people. It covered up what it knew through a pattern of denial, misleading statements and, in some cases, lies and by doing so with regard to the Korean conflict, it broke its commitment with the people who put on their uniform to fight for the freedoms and protection that we and our allies enjoy today.”  Declassified Soviet Documents Confirm US POWs Incarcerated and Executed in Russia General Dmitri Volkogomov of the Soviet Red Army testified before the US Senate Select Committee in 1992 that American soldiers who had been POWs of Germany and found themselves on the territory of the USSR at the end of World War 2 were employed in Stalin’s GULAG labour camps and, on many cases, were summarily executed by the NKVD. American POWs from Korea and Vietnam Sent to the USSR They had also uncovered files of the interrogation of 49 American pilots who had been captured in North Korea and were held prisoner with 3,000 others near the Russian border. Also, US defectors from the Vietnam War were relocated for propaganda activity, with the agreement of the Peoples Republics of China and Vietnam.  Imprisoned and Executed by Their Allies Many of the 22,000 American prisoners of war in camps “liberated” by the Soviets during World War 2 were made slaves in Soviet GULAG labour camps. He knew of 119 Americans who were believed to be either spies or collaborationists who were executed. At least six American prisoners from the Korean War were held at special camps in the Soviet Union where they were interrogated and held for eight years and then shot. Many Records Missing of American POW’s and Executions in USSR General Volkogomov said that his own father had been liquidated under Stalin and that he has still not found any record of the circumstances. He could not rule out the possibility that there had been even more mass transits of American Korean War and Vietnamese War servicemen to the USSR, but most of those records are still to be located.  American Civilian Enslaved in Stalin’s GULAG John Noble wrote the book I Found God in Soviet Russia printed in 1959 and I was a Slave in Russia printed in 1961. American born US citizen John Noble was working in a camera factory in Dresden, 1945. He survived the 14 and 15 February 1945 fire-bombing by the RAF and USAAF and then, together with his father, was arrested by the Soviet Red Army occupation forces and incarcerated at the NKDV special camp number 2 located on the former Buchenwald concentration campsite. The Soviet COMESA appropriated the Noble family’s PRACTICA camera factory and stock of quality cameras. In 1950 John was sentenced to a further 15 years in the Soviet GULAG system in Siberia. As John was transferred across the Soviet Union, he saw a message written by American Major Frank Roberts (who was recorded as Missing In Action during WW 2). John Noble ended up at Vorkuta GULAG in the northernmost Urals, in Siberia. Noble managed to smuggle out a postcard which led to the intervention, in 1955, by President Eisenhower and brought about his release.  The GULAG Study Admits Policy of Suppressing POW Reports The GULAG Study by the Pentagon concluded that American servicemen were imprisoned in the former Soviet Union. After ignoring volumes of documentation for over 50 years, the Pentagon finally admitted that it had been a matter of policy to suppress reports of U.S. POWs and MIAs incarcerated in the Soviet Union and Red China. American POW’s Were Sent to the Soviet Union Col. Simpson (USAF) revealed that while serving as an Air Force attaché at the US embassy in Hong Kong, he learned from Russian defectors that had personally witnessed hundreds of American servicemen from the Korean War being transferred by the Chinese to the Soviets at the Chinese/Russian border crossing point at Manchoulai. Simpson had filed a High Priority report to superiors and knew that it reached the hands of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles.  POW Reports Buried by Eisenhower During the administration of President Ronald Reagan, Simpson's original report was retrieved from the dark hole it had been tossed into decades before. Col. Simpson said that he had been told by a senior member of the Eisenhower Administration that President Eisenhower had concluded that “nothing could be done” to retrieve the men from their captivity and so the reports were buried.  Betrayed by Their Own Government Reports have also been unearthed of American soldiers, who had been fighting against the Bolsheviks at the conclusion of World War 1, as part of a secret U.S. military expedition to Archangel, who had fallen into the hands of the Red Army. The government of President Woodrow Wilson suppressed those facts and kept the plight of these American soldiers from the electorate. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Galatians 6:7  Commander Jeremiah Denton Tortured in Vietnam Another person I had contact with was US Senator Jeremiah Denton, who wrote the book When Hell was in Session. In 1965 Commander Denton, piloting an A-6 Intruder jet, was shot down over North Vietnam and captured. Denton was held prisoner for almost eight years, severely tortured as a POW in Hanoi, Vietnam. During a televised press conference, in 1966, he used the opportunity to send a distress message by repeatedly blinking his eyes in Morse code spelling out T-O-R-T-U-R-E. Resistance Despite Torture When questioned about his support for the US war effort in Vietnam, he replied: "Whatever the position of my government is, I fully support it. Whatever the position of the government, I believe in it. Yes, sir. I am a member of that government and it is my job to support it and I will as long as I live." He was severely tortured for that resistance. As the senior member of the U.S. POWs, he was particularly targeted for special treatment by his tormentors.  Exposing the Communist Agenda Senator Denton set up and chaired the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Security and Terrorism which exposed Soviet KGB communist control of the African National Congress terrorist group in South Africa. Missing in Action in Vietnam Films like Hanoi Hilton, Chuck Norris’s Missing In Action series and Uncommon Valour depict some of the tortures and abuse which U.S. POWs and MIAs suffered in communist Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The reality, as Red McDaniels and Jeremiah Denton revealed, was far worse.  Betrayal by Rulers Through America’s Ambassador to Romania, I met Michel Sturdza, former Romanian Foreign Minister, who authored Betrayal by Rulers. Prince Sturdza documents the pattern of treachery that cannot be explained by folly, stupidity, or accident. He indicts U.S. Presidents Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson as treacherous, not only to their Allies, but to western Christian civilisation. FDR and Winston Churchill's betrayal of millions of Christians in Eastern Europe to Stalin's brutal Soviet Union at the Teheran conference, at the Yalta conference and at Potsdam were some of the greatest blows against freedom in the history of the world. “Who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war.” Psalm 140:2  Operation Keelhaul From 1945 to 1947 over three million Russians, Ukrainians and other East Europeans were forceable repatriated to the USSR by British and American forces in Western Europe. This betrayal of men, women and children into the hands of Stalin’s NKVD was agreed to by Winston Churchill and Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the Yalta conference, but was kept secret for 30 years. Many of those betrayed to the communists had been born in Western Europe, the children of refugees who fled the Red Terror of 1917 to 1923.  Ally Betrayed – China I also have the book Ally Betrayed: the Republic of China by David Rowe. Dr. Rowe professor of political science of Yale University and a specialist on Far East History, Politics and International Relations. As the leading American authority on China, he documented how the U.S. government betrayed free, nationalist China into the hands of Mao’s brutal Red China. The betrayal of the Republic of China into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party continues to have disastrous consequences to this day. “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” Franklin D. Roosevelt Ally Betrayed – Republic of Korea Another book by Professor David Rowe on my shelf: Ally Betrayed… The Republic of Korea. Ally Betrayed – Nicaragua Another book on my shelf: Ally Betrayed – Nicaragua with the Foreword by U.S. Ambassador Beryl Smith and Postscript by U.S. Ambassador Turner Shelton. It quotes Lieutenant General Gordon Sumner "Nicaragua was subverted from within and attacked from without. The record is quite clear in this regard. The role of the Carter administration in this shabby affair…The Carter strategy of polarisation using ‘Human Rights’ as the operative principle has succeeded in destroying the strategic position of the United States and the Caribbean Basin as well as the Western Hemisphere.”  Politics of Deceit and Destabilisation Nicaragua, a strategic country in Central America was lost as a member of the free world community of the nations and its democratically elected government overthrown by Marxist campaign of sabotage and terrorism which were supported by "the deliberate political destabilisation of this freely elected government by the U.S. Administration headed by President Carter in 1979. The politics of deceit adopted by the U.S. Department of State and the massive Cuban support given to the Sandinista Communist terrorists were largely ignored by the U.S. media. The triumph of the Sandinista terrorist movement in Nicaragua encouraged Fidel Castro and Soviets to assist further revolutionary upheavals in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.”  Wall Street and the Bankrolling of the Bolshevik Revolution Professor Anthony Sutton, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, wrote: Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution which documents the shocking links between some New York bankers and many revolutionaries in what became the Soviet Union. The Best Enemy Money Can Buy Professor Sutton also wrote the book The Best Enemy Money Can Buy documenting how the Soviet Union and Red China were built up with Western Technology and aid.  Never Beaten by Our Enemies – Betrayed by Our Friends Prime Minister Ian Smith of Rhodesia declared: "We were never beaten by our enemies, we were betrayed by our friends." The title of his biography is: The Great Betrayal. The betrayal of Rhodesia to Mugabe’s Marxist Zimbabwe continues to have disastrous repercussions to this day. “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11  Freedom Betrayed President Herbert Hoover, America's 31st president, spent 20 years researching and writing a monumental documentation of U.S. State Department treachery. The title of his book: Freedom Betrayed: Herbert Hoover’s Secret History of the Second World War and its Aftermath. President Herbert Hoover documents the treacherous policies of Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration in betraying the Christians of Central and Eastern Europe into the hands of Stalin’s brutal Soviet Union. “…for with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38  Uncomfortable Truths That Expose the Real Agenda of FDR Hoover’s Freedom Betrayed is a 900-page encyclopaedia of uncomfortable truths that seriously challenge the traditional views of American President Franklin D. Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Herbert Hoover documents that F.D.R.’s foreign policies were not merely disastrous and catastrophic, but treacherous. His shocking exposé has proved to become one of the key historical documents of the mid-20th century, a searing indictment of F.D.R. and the politicians around whom who lied prodigiously to conceal their nefarious agenda. “The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.” Psalm 55:21 The Betrayal of Iran The Shah’s Story by Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, documents the treacherous role of the U.S. State Department under President Jimmy Carter which led to the Islamic Revolution of 11 February 1979 and the end of over 2,500 years of continuous Persian monarchy since the founding of the Persian Empire by Cyrus the Great. During the last Shah’s 38-year rule, Iran went through a series of economic, social and political reforms which transformed that country into a global power with its national income rising 423 times over. By 1977, Iran’s military had become the world's 5th strongest armed forces. Iran’s economic growth rate exceeded that of United States, Great Britain and France. The destabilising and betrayal of Iran in 1979 continues to have disastrous repercussions to this day.  No Win Wars On my first visit to United States of America in January 1988, I heard Col. Oliver North describe how he had time and again been commanded to lead his Marines to take a position in Vietnam, only to then be ordered to withdraw from that position. To then be told to retake that position, which by then was far more effectively defended. They would succeed the second time at greater loss of life. Only to be ordered to withdraw from that position. And then the third time be instructed to retake that same position, which now was further entrenched, with concrete, barb wire and more devastating weaponry. At greater loss of life U.S. Marines would succeed in taking that position a third time, only to be ordered to withdraw from that position again. I remember the horror and shock I felt listening to this first-hand testimony of the criminal short-sightedness, or malicious treachery, of U.S. government officials towards their own armed forces.  Our Creator and Eternal Judge will Bring Injustice to Light “Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! She has not obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; she has not trusted in the Lord, she has not drawn near to her God. Her princes in her midst are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves that leave not a bone till morning. Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the Law. The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.” Zephaniah 3:1-5 A View Within the Beltway of Washington D.C. During my 1st visit to America in 1988, I met with a political leader who commented: "You must understand that there is some method in the madness. For every ally we betray we get a whole lot of new restaurants to choose from here in Washington, DC!" There standing on the street corner we looked over and we saw a Chinese restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant and a Hungarian restaurant. I looked at him to see if this was some kind of sick joke.
